Works well. I have it mounted on a light stand for self taping with iPhone. A little clunky with changing it around and figuring out the best angle-it only has certain directions it turns so you have to flip one way and then turn...or flip opposite and then turn the OTHER way if that’s not the right angle. But very sturdy as far as holding onto my iPhone XS, which I don’t want crashing to the ground after popping out of a sub-par clamp.

The JOBY grip tight gadget is very good and is serving the purpose of which it was bought. The adjustable nuts are very good.

We bought a gorilla pod to use with our camera. The camera screwed right onto the gorilla pod. But who uses a camera anymore? We take all our pictures with our iphone 11. This device is perfect. Our iphone 11 fastens right into it and we attach this to our gorilla pod. Perfect! It does exactly what we wanted.

Handy little gadget for smartphone video on a tripod.

This gadget has certainly come in handy for those times when I don't feel like lugging a lot of gear around when I want to do a video shoot. A simple tripod, this gadget, and a cell phone is all I need for quick video production on the go, or simple vlogging. It's adjustable to fit most cell phones and the phone may be mounted verically or horizontally. Easily attaches to tripod. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.

I've been making videos to post to YouTube, using my phone, and I've been using a folding music stand as my tripod. This phone holder, and my new actual tripod are a huge improvement over that setup. Now, I don't have to worry about my phone falling off it, and now I can point it down. It works really well!!

This holds my Iphone X in a Pelican Voyager case It is solidly built and a night & day difference from the cheap plastic ones included in tripods Definitely recommend I Fits a Iphone 8 plus with a slimmer case but nearly out of adjustment to get any larger. May run into an issue of you have a larger case like an otterbox defender

This is a well made device to make video and photos much steadier with phone securely attached to a tripod. I gave 4 stars for ease of use because I couldn't open the width of the holder at first. It was a bit stiff. It's better now.

Just what I was looking for for my iPhone. Easy to use and well made.

A reasonably priced smartphone holder. Well made phone grip with padding. Rotates from horizontal to vertical mode (or any angle between). Holds my iPhone 6+ across its width with room to spare, so the ability to rotate and firm grip are essential. The product image shows what looks like a joint between tripod mount and phone. This in fact only tilts in one direction, from vertical to down facing. You’ll still need some kind of head on the photo tripod for camera aiming.
