When you want a tripod to hold up a phone that costs close to, if not more than, $1000, you want to know that it won't fall out of the grip and shatter into a worthless paper weight. This tripod mount will hold onto your phone securely and with confidence! Not sure how large of a case this grip will accommodate, but it holds onto my Pixel 4 XL in a slim case for dear life until I unscrew the clamps.

I wanted a holder for my iPhone 7 in its Otter case and this one barely does it..but it works. If you phone in a case is smaller then the Otter it should work fine. Would be nice if it could go just a tiny bit wider...
