I bought one initially. It does take some strength and jiggling to make it be easily usable and loose, it fits my LG V35 ThinQ, it's stable, secure, so pleased that I ordered my second one for another tripod. Both were set up to record videos and photos of a get-together. I also have a walking stick that serves as a monopod up at the top, and this works on that. The initial jiggling took me some time to figure this out. But once I figured out how it rotates and bites the phone, I was very pleased with it.

I can be certain when I buy Joby products, I will get a quality item. I have the small gorilla pod and this works fine on it. Like I mentioned, its heavy so keep that in mind when putting it on a small tripod with your phone. The original clamp that came with my gorilla pod was easy to use since you just pull it open, but this is nice if you want to put your phone in portrait mode. Also it takes one screw to be able to rotate and open it, which makes it quick to use, but if you just want to rotate it, you must be aware of your device coming out. Works nice on a full size tripod as well.

I use this on my tripod to hold my phone for live streams. It holds nice and tight and the adjustments allows easy fine tuning of positioning. This is a heavy mount and is very durable. I don't have to worry about tossing it in my bag and finding broken pieces. Well made. One thing to note is that once it's positioned and gripped to the phone, it holds on tight. Unlike the spring action type holders, this one is set by screwing tight with no wiggle room.

For the money it works well. Easy to mount to a tripod, secures iPhone 10 well. Rotated easily 90degrees.

The Joby smartphone holder does a terrific job of capturing long-exposure images or whole group photos. It's well built and easy to use.

I am using this with an iPhone X and it works great. I had bought a cheap holder and it was very unsafe as my phone kept popping out of it. This mount holds my phone securely and I don't have to worry about it getting damaged or falling on the ground. It's really quick and easy to get my phone in and out of the mount and it fits any tripod. Overall it is worth what I paid and I am happy with it.

This is really good quality and definitely works well on my big tripod and my handheld one. It’s easy to set up and use my phone never falls off and I love it, such a great purchase. I love Best Buy!

I wanted a sturdy adapter to use with a tripod or attach to a telescope (Orion universal mount). This one seems well made, holds the phone firmly, rotates easily from vertical to horizontal, and allows button access. I don't really understand the tilt feature. I expected it to tilt up OR down, analogous to a camera tripod mount. But it only aims downward, perhaps to allow better viewing of the screen between exposures. It is not a problem, but I'd have preferred no tilt. It is just one more thing that can break.

Easy to use, very compact and budget friendly. Really dependable in holding your phone during photography.

I tried using a gimbal (elaborate selfie stick) for shooting social media videos with my phone. It was so complicated I could never quite get it to work. And it distracted from making the video. Even when I mounted the gimbal on a tripod it was never right. This unit has mad it possible to enjoy making these videos! It's simple, versatile and sturdy.

It does exactly what it's supposed to. It securely holds an iphone 13 pro and easily attaches to the tripod head. It's sturdy, works really well and it's easy to install.

I bought this in mid-March when lockdown started where I live. I teach high school science and needed to start making videos on my iPhone 11. Using a couple of support rods and clamps, I rigged up this Joby device and it works great for keeping the cell phone steady and level to the table I work from. Most people would use this for other reasons like shooting time-lapse photos on the cell phone, but it does a great job for my uniques setup as well. I wasn't too happy paying $35 for something I will never use outside of teaching, but after 7 weeks of lockdown I definitely got my money's worth!
