I was looking all over the internet for a device for my I-phone to take picture with a tripod and I was in Best Buy asking a store clerk if they had anything that would work he showed me this device at a better price than online and it was a name brand item I was very happy with my purchase!

Works great for helping me with viewing my coin collectables.

My only real complaints are that the grip is not wide enough for bigger iPhone cases, and I have to remove my Otterbox rubber case before using this. Also the knob that tightens the grip is sometimes hard to tighten enough to keep the phone from slipping out, but not a huge issue. It does the job for us!

This is one on the best smart phone holders. But it doesn't come with ball head as pictured. But should fit most tripods with ball heads. You can use it with or without a case. I have an iPhone 6s Plus with a teck21 mesh case. Works perfect. It might even fit an otterbox delfender case.

The Joby - Grip Tight mount pro works great attaching to my tripod.

Holds a Pixel 5a tightly, and the maneuverability is great in tandem with my camera tripod.

The Joby Grip Tight smartphone mount is has all the features I needed for securing my cellphone to my tripod. Adjusting the tilt and angle is a breeze. I felt very secure in leaving my $900+ phone on my tripod when I took group shots that included me.

Worked great holding my iPhone to take family group photos. Used it with the tripod for my Canon camera.

I purchased this to make clear shots with my iPhone. Many times my images show camera movement from a slow shutter speed. When I need images to be sharp, I use this mount on my tripod and it greatly improves my images. The mount can also be used for smoothly panning video.

Inexpensive but not cheap! This holder doesn't break the bank or come with extra bells and whistles. Just what I was looking for to mount my iPhone on my existing tripod for photo and video use.

This JOBY - GripTight Mount PRO Holder for smartphone has been perfect for use with my iPhone on a tripod! I’ve used it to record videos, Facebook Lives, and to convert my iPhone into a Document Camera (with the aid of my AppleTV.)

I bought this in hopes that it would reliably and securely hold my $1k cell phone on a stick held out at about 3 ft. away. I have an OtterBox on my phone and this holder is just not designed to hold anything more than the bare phone. I just will not trust my phone being held at that distance with this holder. NOTE: The holder is extremely well made and very positive for a bare skinny phone, I just find it hard to believe that the designers would ignore the fact that most people have some sort of protective case on their phones and not allow for this added thickness. NOT rocket science guys!

Works great but I returned it because I didn't need it.

much more robust than the original Joby smartphone holder. it would be nice if the grips reached around the phone's volume rocker (on the Nexus 5x), but i guess that will have to wait for an update. as it is, phones with the volume slider around the middle have to be fastened close to the edge, which compromises stability somewhat.
