    It does not securely hold iPhones that are in a protective case. It was difficult to level in both the vertical and horizontal positions. It actually needed a tripod ball to do what I was expecting it to do. I attached it to a Joby flexible tripod that did not have the ball.

    Well, it hasn't dropped my iphone. But it comes close almost every time I use it. And it's a pain to adjust.
