I got this for her and she is happy. Now, for more details, the Journey SWIV 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Station promises to simplify your charging routine by consolidating the power source for your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods into a single, sleek device. The SWIV exudes elegance and sophistication with its minimalist design and premium materials. The charging pad is wrapped in luxurious vegan leather, available in two color options: white and black. The soft-touch finish not only feels great in hand so it complements nightstand, one more reason she loves it. One of the standout features is its foldable design, which allows for compact storage and easy portability. When folded, the SWIV shrinks to nearly half its size, making it a perfect travel companion. The hinge mechanism feels sturdy and reliable, ensuring the charger stays in place when unfolded. Took it with us on vacation and got it right back home. Very nice indeed. The front of the charger features a subtle LED indicator that glows white when charging and turns off after 12 seconds, creating a tranquil nighttime charging environment. The overall aesthetic is clean and modern, with no unnecessary embellishments. The SWIV is designed exclusively for Apple devices, catering to users who have invested in the Apple ecosystem. It features three dedicated charging areas: iPhone: A MagSafe-compatible charging pad that delivers up to 15W of power to compatible iPhones. Apple Watch: A magnetic charging module that supports Nightstand mode, allowing you to view the time and alarms while charging. AirPods: A Qi-compatible charging pad for AirPods or other Qi-enabled devices. The charger comes with a built-in Apple Watch charger, eliminating the need for a separate cable. It also includes a 1.5m USB-C cable for connecting the charger to a power source. The SWIV is certified by Apple, ensuring compatibility and safe charging for your devices. The SWIV delivers fast and efficient charging for all three devices simultaneously. While it doesn't match the speed of wired charging, it's still convenient for overnight charging or when you're not in a rush. The MagSafe charging for iPhones is notably faster than the standard Qi charging for AirPods and other devices. One minor inconvenience is that the Apple Watch charger doesn't support fast charging for the latest Apple Watch models. But that's small potato's for everything else I got with this charger.

Perfect Apple charger for travel or countertop

The Journey SWIV 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Station is the perfect solution to charging your Apple Airpods, Apple Watch, and iPhone in one convenient setup. I must begin by saying the packaging was worthy of acclaim on its own merits. The box lid is a tight fit though and some lid cutouts would be a nice addition to add some grip points to make its removal easier. The instruction manual on the other hand was difficult to read due to very tiny print and even reading glasses weren’t much help for me. The instructions aren’t really all that necessary, but I did have to resort to reading with a magnifying glass to make sure I wasn’t missing anything important. Fortunately, operation is about as simple as plugging in the USB-C cable into a PD charger (not included) and setting your Apple devices in their respective placeholders. Instructions do recommend using at least a 20W PD charger and the cable that is included has USB-C connectors on both ends. Thankfully I already had an Insignia 30W charger with a USB-C port.
The 3-in-1 charger itself is designed simply to lay flat, unlike a tall stand, making it perfect as a travel charger. Journey does sell a stand version, but it’s not nearly as ideal for travel. The iPhone portion can be folded over, making it even more compact and results in the charger being about the size of an iPhone itself. The Apple Watch charger can either lay flat or can be rotated upright to take up less countertop space. If there’s a connection problem, there is a small LED near the cable input that flashes red. Otherwise the light will be white and turns off after 12 seconds, so the light won’t disturb your sleep at night. It is reassuring to know that the charger utilizes Apple-certified technology, so there is no worry about harming anything. Of course, your iPhone must be capable of wireless charging and does require a MagSafe-compatible phone case if you use one. What I like most about the Journey charging station is that it reduces the number of charging cables from three down to one and only requires one outlet and PD charger…so much simpler and so much better!

I recently procured The Journey SWIV 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Station, and I must say, I am quite impressed with its features and functionality. Here is my detailed review of this product:
The product was packaged well, and it was easy to find everything upon opening the package. The main unit and the charger for it were neatly arranged and easy to locate.
This Charging station has a clean, White / Grey apple look and feel to it as well. Nicely done.
The charging station can charge multiple devices (Air pods, iPhone & Apple Watch) at once, making it convenient for users with multiple Apple devices. NOTE – I also have an Android S22 phone and Jabra earbuds that also charge no problem which is a bonus.
You can charge your watch either laying flat on the station, or you can tilt the charger out 90 degrees to wrap your watch around the charging unit vertically.
Additionally, the universal USB-C cord allows you to plug it in anywhere without any hassle. (Note – No charging brick included)
The phone charger is very magnetic, and the phone sticks well to it. The ability to fold it over makes it convenient for travel, storage, or even hanging it if desired.
Overall, The Journey SWIV 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Station is a versatile and convenient charging solution that offers fast charging and the ability to charge multiple devices simultaneously. The portability and functionality make it a great addition to any tech-savvy individual's arsenal.

A Simple and Convenient Charge for Apple Products

JOURNEY - SWIV 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Station - White
This charging station is an excellent product. It is constructed well. is light in weight and does not take up much room on my desk and it folds into a small footprint, as well.
The length to the charger is 5" folded and 8" stretched out.
The width is under 3"
Another great benefit is that you need only one cable that came with the charger to charge the Apple iPhone and the Apple watch.
The charging cable that came with the charger was USB-C at both ends. The charger port is USB-C but I elected to use a USB cable in a USB docking station which worked just fine.
The phone is placed flat on the charger and connects magnetically. The back of the watch attaches to a charging plate with the watch face facing forward with the band wrapping around the back. The watch charging plate stands up for charging but lays flat for storage.
The charger also has a small area to place an AirPod.
So, the charging station is ideal since it is small, convenient, multi-functional and folds for storage or travel.
I am delighted to own this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to charge multiple Apple products more conveniently and especially anyone who travels frequently.

Charger works well and there’s literally no setup. Includes a pretty heavy duty USB-C cable and holds my Apple Watch, AirPods and iPhone neatly all in one place.
I have an iPhone 12 with a leather case and it remarkably it charges through the case. Helped get rid of 2 separate cables on the nightstand so I’m happy about that too. It does take a little longer to charge all three items but since it will be on the nightstand, I'm okay with an overnight charging situation. The magnet for the apple watch is good and strong and flips up so you don't have to balance it exactly when it is flat like the "disk" chargers I have for the watch. The cord it comes with is quite long also which is a plus so that it can run behind the nightstand and not add clutter to the tabletop.
The only thing that I wish it had was some kind of additional USB-C charging port so I could add my ipad to the charging mix and charge all my apple devices at the same place and time, but I’m happy with this overall. I might even take it with me when I travel to minimize cables in checked or carry on baggage. Also - note that it doesn't come with a plug, so you'll need to use another plug or USB-C port to charge.

To cut right to it, the Journey charging station does just what it should, in style, albeit a little slower than I’d like.
The packaging looks like it came straight from Apple for your three key Apple devices. Right out of the box, everything is intuitive and makes sense. There is a USB-C to USB-C charging cable included. Good news—it’s actually long enough to reach the outlet next to a nightstand or beneath a desk! I layer the unit on the nightstand and plugged it in right away.
The construction of the Journey is sturdy, but lighter than I expected. It’s actually lighter than my iPhone phone 15 Pro, despite having a larger footprint. That’s good and bad. Good that it is portable without adding heft, bad that it comes off the surface when detaching the phone from the MagSafe charger.
My AirPods Pro case sat right in the spot for them and the green indicator light on the case let me know they were charging. My watch is on a loop band and stood proud in nightstand mode with a satisfying click upon contact with the charging disc. And my phone stuck very nicely to the MagSafe sidecar charger with the MagSafe animation indicating successful connection. It took my watch over an hour to get to a full charge from about 30%. The AirPods charged to full in the same time. My phone gained about a percentage point every couple minutes. So this charging station does not do the fast charge.
The watch disc folds flat and the MagSafe charger folds over to make a compact unit that is easy to store or pack or leave on a nightstand in a smaller footprint when not in use. This is perfect for overnight charging, but I’d prefer something faster on my desk.

I work in a variety of environments, in addition to traveling by air. Preparedness AND efficiency matter a great deal to me. The Journey 3-in1 Foldable Wireless Charging Station is an elegant, compact solution for people on-the-go. Aesthetically, it is a minimalist complement to the Apple world of devices.
Form and function are friends here. The fold out, (they say leather, but I think it's vinyl or something synthetic) portion for inductively charging your phone is a nice solution to make the device smaller when not in use. When stowed, it covers the watch charger. That portion of the device is also elegantly resolved. It's on a hinge that you swing up to vertical for watch charging. I found it slightly difficult to elevate, but it can be done easily with your fingernail or a pen tip.
The third portion of the charger is for earbuds. Specifically, Apple's. And that was my disappointment because I use another brand of wirelessly charged earbuds...and their case doesn't fit in the lovely, scooped charging basin. For the purpose of testing, I borrowed a friend's and found it perfectly shaped.
All the charging was simple and seemed fast. What else do you want?

Compact Charging Station For Apple Users on the Go

If you’ve got at least two Apple products: iPhone, airpods, and/or an Apple Watch, this is a fantastic way to easily wirelessly charge all of them at once without taking up any more space than needed. In home and especially when travelling – either for work or just to the office – this is a compact design and does exactly what you need it to.
Like many products designed to be used with Apple items, the packaging is sleek and designed well enough to merit a premium product. Inside the box itself is the wireless charging station itself, a USB-C to C cable, basic documentation and a few stickers.
The charging station itself both is about the same size and, coincidentally or not, when closed looks exactly like an early iPod. The station is one unit, made of two parts: the main body of the unit where your airpods and watch charge and then the round magsafe wireless phone charger that’s connected to the rest of the unit by a leather casing that surrounds the phone charge pad and makes up the back covering of the station. This leather casing between the two halves is what allows the phone charge pad to fold up over the phone charge space to make it more travel friendly. There is a warning that comes with charge station that this hinge, being a natural product that will be bent, will show creasing one day.
On the back rear of the unit is where you plug your USB-C power cable in. It does not come with a wall outlet adapter, but nothing does these days, and you probably have some taking up space in a drawer. There is a small light indicator next to it, but it’s easily ignored and doesn’t tell you too much.
The Apple Watch charger can be in one of two configurations. The first is with it flat, in-line with the rest of the charge station. This is perfect if you want to lay your watch flat. You can also flip the circular charge upwards, so your watch face is vertical. Perfect if you want to see the time on your watch from your bedside or using a watch band that can’t lay flat. The Airpod and phone chargers lay flat, with the Airpod spot being slightly indented to hold the case better.
Everything works as expected. Place your items down, they wirelessly charge. I was able to test this with an Apple Watch, iPhone, Android phone (Pixel 6 Pro), and LG TONE earbuds that could be wirelessly charged and this charge pad worked just fine. If you do have wireless earbuds that can charge wireless but are NOT Airpods, your case may or may not fit into the indented space. My earbud case did, but it had to sit perfectly. I think device should primarily only be purchased by Apple product users, even if you technically charge other devices with it.
There are very little downsides. The only negative I could possibly find is that removing your phone is really a two-handed effort. The magsafe connection is just too strong and this charging station too lightweight for you really be able to pull your phone off without lifting up the whole station. This is, ultimately, a very minor problem and something you’d likely encounter with nearly all portable charge stations, as the goal is be as light as possible.
At the end of the day, if you own multiple Apple products that you bring on trips and want charged, or just want a wireless charge station for your home that takes up very little space, you can’t go wrong with this. We’ll be travelling soon and we’re thrilled that the Journey charging station eliminates the need for several extra cables we need to bring with us.

Let's face it, Apple has created an ecosystem that has people walking around surrounded by it. Between AirPods in your ears, an Apple Watch on your wrist and an iPhone in your pocket, that becomes a lot of tech to keep charged up. And depending on models, could lead to a maze of different cables and charging blocks. This Journey Charging Station is made for that person and makes living the tech life so much easier.
All you need is one single charging block or usb power outlet to plug in the station and you can charge all 3 anytime you need to, whether it's all at once or separately. All 3 charge wirelessly, simultaneously, and quick.
For the AirPods, they just sit in the recessed area shaped for the standard AirPods case. It's strong enough though that if you have an outer case over the plain AirPods case, it could still charge them. That really comes down to the case you have. Ours is fairly thick and we didn't expect it to work but it did, although it did struggle to maintain the connection at times. But again, that's more of an issue with aftermarket cases, not this station. So if you do have an aftermarket case, you may have to remove it.
Then there's the Apple Watch. Again, the watch just sits on the spot designed for it and attaches itself perfectly. Best part though is they designed this part so that you can move the watch charger vertical. This could have been a deal breaker for some people if it didn't have this feature. Apple made it so that you can easily swap between different watch bands to fit your style or mood. Problem is that with some of these bands, you can't lay the watch flat in order to sit on a flat charger. The hinged feature in this station takes care of that.
Finally, and probably most importantly, is the iPhone charger. Again, it does what it says and it works with mag-safe cases and practically sucks the phone into place. Both my wife and I have an iPhone with different cases and this charger worked through both.
While this charging station is made for Apple products, the phone charger portion will actually work with other devices that have wireless charging capabilities. Due to my work, I also use Android phones, so I sat my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra where the iPhone normally goes and it started charging immediately, it even displayed that it was 'fast' charging! So if you're a split household, you could still both use this charging station.
Aside from the charging features, there's not much more to talk about with this station, other than the 'folding' part. It's a nice touch that it can do so, but it doesn't really make it that much smaller. If anything it makes it a thicker, and in some cases it's easier for me to travel with it unfolded. That said, it's still easily portable enough, folded or not.
Overall this is a great product for Apple users. It cleans up nightstands and makes it so easy to charge your items, that is, IF you have all 3 Apple products. If you do, I definitely recommend this and almost consider it a must have. If you don't have all 3, there's probably other options better suited for you.

If you have at least a MagSafe iPhone and an Apple Watch, should consider this (but great if you have all three). I have all three, however on my AirPods charging case, I do have a protective leather case over it so I doubt it’ll work unless I take the case off; I might go case-less with the AirPods later on.
The way this folds is compact and great if you travel. East stow in any luggage and when you get to your destination - just unfold and flip the Apple Watch charger up 90 degrees (or leave flat if you want to as well), and lay it on your main desk or nightstand at your hotel or wherever you’re staying at.
The layout when you unfold this to lay on a surface seems minimal, and the quality feels premium and comes in a nice box with seals like similar when you’re opening an apple product.
It comes with a USB C charging cable, however no power adapter is included so you must supply your own power source like a two prong AC adapter with usb c connectivity, or even a portable battery, etc.
All in all it’s great to have which I highly recommend if you are an avid traveler for either personal/business leisure.

As an Apple fan boy, I'm always on the lookout for accessories that can enhance my travel experience. The JOURNEY - SWIV 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Station caught my eye as a promising solution for charging my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once. Apple’s own solution feels a bit dated, still relying on a lightning charger and lacking a dedicated spot for AirPods, so I had high hopes for this alternative.
Upon receiving the JOURNEY charger, the unboxing experience felt premium, reminiscent of opening an Apple product with well-thought-out packaging that sets high expectations. However, the actual product was somewhat of a disappointment. The main base is constructed from plastic—not the shiny type, thankfully, but plastic nonetheless. This choice of material, while lightweight and travel-friendly, fails to convey the same quality I would expect at the price point. The best part of the design is the vegan leather, which adds a smidgeon of elegance and is probably the highlight in terms of materials used, but I'm not convinced it will hold up to the rigors of the road.
Functionally, the charger operates as expected—efficiently powering my devices. However, the overall aesthetic and feel of the unit don’t quite hit the mark. The included cable is particularly bulky, which seems at odds with the otherwise sleek design. I also wonder whether the entire design could have benefitted from integrating the vegan leather material more extensively.
Ultimately, while the charger functions well, its design and material choices leave it falling short of what I envisioned. It’s not going to be a mainstay in my daily setup and is likely to end up as a secondary option in a guest bedroom. It's serviceable, and for those who like the design, it might be a fine choice, but for me, it rates as a swing and a miss, aesthetically speaking. I'm giving it 4 stars because it works, but it won't be taking center stage in my Apple ecosystem.

With design cues seemingly straight out of Cupertino, the Journey SWIV charger looks like something that was deliberately designed to perfectly complement the Apple aesthetic, not just provide the features touted on the box. If you are someone who appreciates the smooth, modern, minimalist “Apple look” to your tech, you should find a lot to like in the SWIV 3-in-1 wireless charger.
The charger’s design is simple, yet still comes off as elegant thanks to the fit, finish, and feel of the materials. The backside of the entire unit and the folding Magsafe charger pad are adorned with “Apple-gray” vegan leather. I thought at first this was just a design flourish, but the leatherette backing actually helps prevent scratches to your tabletop from movements of the charger itself. I do wish the vegan leather's surface texture was a little bit more “grippy” so it wouldn’t slide around quite so easily when removing a phone or watch from the magnetic charging pads--but that’s definitely a small nit to pick.
The magnets seem potent and reassuringly snap securely to Magsafe devices/cases and Apple watch backs–and of course, they snap closed to each other once you fold the phone charger pad over onto the watch charger, making the whole unit much smaller for easy packing. The watch charging pad can also be set vertically to let your watch both charge and operate in nightstand mode which simply further enhances its travel-friendliness. And in one last thoughtful design consideration, the LED power indicator at the back near the USB-C port turns off after about 10 seconds to reduce any intrusively bright lights into an otherwise darkened room.
Charging capacities are generous, with up to 15W on the phone charging pad, and 3W each to the watch and AirPod chargers. My Apple Watch is a little older so it doesn’t support fast-charging, but the large phone charging pad definitely juiced up my 14 Pro Max at fast-charge speeds. Yet although the SWIV comes with a nice quality 1.5m USB-C to USB-C cable, there is no charger included in the box, so your charging experience will be dictated by/limited to the capabilities of the charger you pair with the SWIV. Using an Anker Nano II 65W wall charger and a USB-C cable with LED charge level indicator, I pulled 14W charging up my Jabra Elite 5 earbuds, Apple Watch Series 6, and iPhone 14 Max Pro.
If there are any other nits to pick, I would start with concerns over the longevity of the vegan leather, especially at the bends where the phone charger folds over. I’ve seen this sort of design before in other products, and there is a *possibility* that over time small cracks could start to form along the edges of the fabric flap, especially at the points of the extreme bend near the flap’s folding “hinge.” However, such concerns may be unfounded if you aren’t constantly folding and unfolding the flap because you’re moving the unit between charging locations every day.
And finally, while I can sort of forgive the lack of a pack-in charger given that similarly priced/featured premium travel units also typically do not come with wall chargers of their own, the premium-leaning price makes me wonder why a small fabric pouch or sleeve was not included–just to add a dash of protection for the fine matte finish and smooth vegan leather covering as the charger is being lugged around or stowed in an overnight bag or backpack. But that vanity complaint aside, the Journey SWIV charger does exactly what it’s supposed to, and does it with great aplomb…definitely recommended!

Versatile & Elegant with a Cheap Build

📦 UNBOXING:
The packaging of the SWIV is reminiscent of another leading accessory brand. Seeing the box on a retail shelf, it would definitely catch my eye. Inside you’ll get the SWIV charging station, a 1.5m USB-C cable, and the user manual. You’ll need to supply your own wall adapter, which I already had plenty of.
💪 BUILD:
The SWIV itself looks more premium in the pics than it does in person. It’s lightweight, and uses plastic throughout the design. They could have made this feel more premium with a rubberized finish like Apple’s own chargers, but Journey opted to use a simpler plastic design, and you can even see some seams on the plastic.
The vegan leather also looks like it will peel off over time, so I would suggest keeping the SWIV away from direct sunlight and not letting it get roughed up while in a bag, since part of the appeal of an accessory like this is the visual design.
One of the downsides of the iPhone charger is that the vegan leather flap seems more susceptible to accidental rips or tears if you mishandle it—especially with how thin it is.
The Apple Watch charger also pops out, and if you look at how it connects, you’ll see a small cable attaching the Apple Watch terminal to circuitry on the inside of the charger. While this isn’t necessarily a big deal, it does mean that with enough bends, eventually the cable might wear out and the Apple Watch charger could stop functioning.
With all that said—this is just critique of the design and build materials. It’s a cheaper-feeling build that probably didn’t cost too much to manufacture, but it does have an elegant, minimalist look that I like.
The SWIV requires USB-C power to operate, but more importantly, the user manual says it operates at an input of 5V/3A or 9V/3A—so you’ll want to use a power source that meets these specifications or you may have an unreliable experience. And if you plan to use all 3 charging pads, you’ll want the latter for the best experience. And with an LED next to the USB-C input, you’ll be able to see if the SWIV is receiving power.
⚡ FEATURES:
The SWIV Features a 15W maximum (falling back to 10W or 7.5W) MagSafe-compatible Qi Wireless charger. My MagSafe-compatible iPhone has no issues charging with it, with or without a case on. And of course, other products that support Qi wireless charging also work on this charging pad. I do like how it folds over and magnetically attaches over the Apple Watch charger for better portability.
The 3W Apple Watch Charger pops out with a gentle push from underneath, and lets your Apple Watch serve the time in nightstand mode. And if you have 2nd Gen AirPods Pro, you can also charge them on the Apple Watch charger while flat or popped-up.
The 3W AirPods charger is also compatible with other Qi-compatible devices. So if you have non-Apple earbuds with a wireless charging case, there shouldn’t be an issue charging them on this pad. And since the inset is so minimal, I found that there was no issue with charging earbuds with larger cases than AirPods.
🧐 CONCLUSION:
Overall, I do like the design of the SWIV 3-in-1 foldable wireless charging station. However, as someone who has used products from other brands, I do feel like the asking price is significantly higher while the build quality could definitely be better.
For me, there is not an issue with the charging itself—my experience has been positive thus far. But when you’re paying this much money, I expect that the product should be using better materials and have a more premium finish. They put a lot of effort into making the box feel like you were buying a premium product, but the build materials fell short of my expectations.
So while I can recommend it for the use-case, I would personally advise waiting for a sale or discount on this one. It’s a good product, but it doesn’t earn the expensive price tag.

I travel for work on a routine basis, so I was excited to pick up the SWIV foldable wireless charging station by Journey.
In the box is the charging station, a USB-C charging cable and user manual. Setup is plug and play, with a minimalistic footprint of 8.5" long, 3" wide, and just under 0.5" thick when collapsed. The MagSafe phone charger folds into the body for portability, and lays flat to charge your iPhone. The Apple Watch charger lays flat for portability and folds up for watch charging, and at the end is a dedicated space to place your AirPods to charge.
The folding charger has now eliminated the need for three chargers and, when folded, slides flat into my backpack. The build is super robust, after forgetting it was in the front pocket of my backpack, I dropped the backpack on the ground, then one of the teens was using it for a footrest. I figured this would have bent or broken the charging pad, however it's still in perfect condition regardless of the abuse. A few other nice features - MagSafe Compatible, wireless fast charging, the design of the watch charger allows compatibility with all styles of watch bands, and nighttime friendly with no indicator lights on when in use.
Overall a great new staple to add to my travel gear, highly portable, keeps everything nicely organized, and no lights to keep me up at night.

This charging station is an amazing travel companion, very compact and able to charge all three devices through one USB-C cable! It's constructed with very premium feeling materials and has a lot of flexibility (no pun intended) in how you can place the watch and on how you can charge devices. I was able to charge my significant other's iPhone 14 Pro Max, her Apple Watch, and my Samsung Flip5 (on the airpods pad). The phone charging pad is MagSafe compatible and holds to the phone very well, with or without a MagSafe phone case and that helps to hold the charging station closed when its stored to keep the setup nice and tidy. This isn't just for travel, either, the JOURNEY SWIV charging station also looks incredibly sharp on a desk, at work, bedside table, or anywhere you might feel like using it, it just also works incredibly well as a travel charging station.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking for a premium charging station that works excellently on the go and at home!

Easy to use, easy to travel with, charges great. The only design change i would suggest is some sort of edge on the section where you charge your airpods. It’s really easy to knock them off accidentally. Would 100% buy this again.

This piece is both functional and looks good at the same time. It actually looks like it was manufactured by Apple. This piece really solves traveling issues with cords and plugs.

For someone on the go, this is the item to purchase. Don’t fuss with all of the multiple cords in your bag, have this all in one so it can charge everything you have.
