Joy Cons are Great only when they aren't

They are tiny for normal human hands, but that is an inherent flaw with the switch. The slide cover with strap can also be finicky to remove. It would also be nice if they had a version with the sticks in the same location rather than have the right stick lower than the d pad. Having the stick centered is more awkward when using the joy con on it's own with a mulit player game.

They fit effortlessly into your hands, when being used separately, and you almost forget they’re there. Having the options to use them separately, individually, docked into a “traditional controller”, and attached to the console using it handheld opens so many dimensions of play. Best Buy sold me a high quality set.
