Excellent spin off of the yakuza formula. Like the characters and the story. I don’t like the random encounter battles and lack of interesting side stories.

This is kind of a cross between Phoenix Wright and Yakuza. Yes set out to solve the crimes yet you put yourself in tougher situations that time defined clues. This game is for those who like the yakuza series and looking for something a little bit different with a twist. The graphics look good the gameplay and controlling is also very well done.

Judgement is basically a Yakuza game in a new(ish) skin, but unlike most of the games in the series, this spinoff is a great starting point for anyone who's been intimidated by the number of Yakuza sequels. For franchise vets, you'll recognize another dramatic and entertaining story to punch and kick your way through, with a narrative that's at least on par with fan favorite Yakuza 0.

Judgment is a great game from the same people who brought you yakuza franchise you get the same feel like yakuza the fighting mechanics is almost about the same graphics are awesome and the dub English voices are better then yakuza your in the same town as most of yakuza some of the same characters from yakuza so if your a fan of yakuza franchise you really enjoy judgment

Great story and combat. Very fun and worth the money, as expected

I loved the Yakuza series. So I picked this up day one. Very similar in many way with the difference being the characters & story being told. Investigation elements haven't had me scratching my head to solve. Very linear. I don't like Yagumi's combat styles as much. The wall run attacks are a good addition though. Maybe my feeling will change when I unlock more techniques. Was able to visit Kabukicho this year. The city which Kamurocho is based on. The graphics do a good job of replicating locales. Don't know if they all exist in real life but I did recognize some I've been to. So that was awesome to see.

Story is good and there's a lot of fun things to do in the world.

Judgement is a great spin-off the Yakuza series. The combat is faster and aims of having fights go quick with a visceral pace. You'll be kicking yourself off walls while trying to figure out the murder that happened at the beginning of the game. The only thing that is awful about this title are the optional drone races

Must buy for yakuza fans. Great gameplay and story.

gripping story and good graphics, awesome voice work

then get this game! Obviously not part of the yakuza universe but it is a spinoff made by the same people. Story is nothing to write home about. A former prosecutor/ attorney now having his own private detective firm, you follow him as he tries to solve murder mysteries involving victims whose eyes are removed after being killed. I won't go further into the game itself, but if you played any of the yakuza games, you'll already know what things to expect. Overall good game.

A Spinoff from the Yakuza franchise but this is a fantastic game. I definitely had a good through playing through this game and would recommend it to any fan of the Yakuza series. Newcomers can enjoy this game without knowing anything about the base Yakuza series.

If you are a fan of the Yakuza games, then pick this up. Great story and fun gameplay. One of the sleeper hits of 2019.

Another great title in the Yakuza series from RGG Studio, who keep refining what brings people to the series, this time with a side story from the opposite side of the law. Definitely worth a play for fans of the series, or folks that want more from their action games.

If you enjoy the Yakuza games, you'll probably love this game. If you love Detective-style games, you'll probably love this game. Mixing Yakuza series heat actions and gameplay with the other side of the law (playing as a detective rather than Yakuza such as Kiryu and Majima) is a great experience.

Yes, this game is a spin-off from Yakuza series, but it has a different spirit. The story is really good, it hooks you from the beginning to the end. The characters development, exploration everything. I would say one of my top 10 games for PS4.

Absolutely amazing game, from the same universe and creators of the Yakuza series. But does not have any tie ins with the yakuza games so if you never played Yakuza you would still understand this game.. I would deff have to say this is one of their best pieces to date!

Never played a yakuza game before, glad I started with this one. Really good English voice actors, combat is OK but the story is solid. The detective/investigation parts are fun. Highly recommended if you’ve never tried a yakuza game, this is a good place to start
