I've been waiting for a Blu-Ray release of this movie. I grew up to this movie and watching old VHS recordings gets worn out. Watching this excellent transfer was like watching the movie for the first time again. In addition, the bonus features have great retrospectives of the making, 90's Hip-Hop Music & Culture and best of all, a great vintage interview of 2pac and his co-stars. It feels like a time capsule of the 90s. The studio really did right by this 25th anniversary edition complete with a fantastic looking slipcover all for a low price. If you've ever enjoyed 2pac, 90s Hip-Hop or New York Culture, see this movie and enjoy the special features.

Juice gets an impressive 4K facelift and reissue, even though the movie itself upon its initial release was in the shadow of its predecessors and much better cinematic accomplishments, Boyz n the Hood and New Jack City. Like many movies from the 80s and 90s, Juice did get better with age and deserves a 4K treatment and steelbook release. Tupac Shakur's performance alone is enough to make this movie a must have for any film buff or collector. He was truly a genuine talent taken from us far too soon.

Okay without going through all of the long on going comments that could be made about this movie; I’ll rate it in summary this way, This is a well thought out and well made movie. And the characters in this movie really played their parts brilliantly and entertainingly made up of realistic yet eye catching moments that would keep you on edge not knowing what to expect next simply outstanding movie.

Bishop, Q, Raheem, and Steel are Harlem friends who spend their days skipping school, getting in fights, and casually shoplifting. The only member of the group who has plans for the future is Q, who dreams of becoming a deejay. But one day Bishop happens to see James Cagney in White Heat and the film inspires him to buy a gun. His plan is to rob a corner store and split the money. Everyone goes along with the plan except for Q. They look for a way to get the power and respect they call Juice.

Nice to see Paramount finally releasing catalog titles again. If you don't know this movie by now, it's a perfect slice of early 90's era NY. Amazing audio/visual quality. Haven't got to any of the extras yet, but no other release had anything so this is the best in that department. For $12 or so this is a must own for fans of rap, Tupac, hood movies, or those who like seeing different eras of NYC. Get it!

Absolutely loved and still love this movie. I could not pass up the steelbook 4k edition. If you love Menace to Society, Boyz n the hood and even the newer NWA movie you will love Juice. Oh and Rakim (Know the ledge) intro song to this movie is a masterpiece

Pac was an incredible actor whose theatrical prowess was only overshadowed by his incredible musicality. Juice is a must-watch to see him in full form as an actor. DP-turned-director Ernest Dickerson does an incredible job as well. Additionally, this is a great release, especially as the first Blu-ray release of the film - inexpensive, great slipcover, and abundant special features.

"Juice" (1992) is both a classic Hip Hop film and a realistic story of self-destruction. This film features both Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps' break-out performances. Samuel L. Jackson appears here in one of his early supporting roles. "Juice" also features one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in a motion picture. I don't want to give away spoilers, so I'll leave it at that.

It was an amazing journey to watch the young actors in this movie start their careers and involve to become great talented veteran actors of today. To see Tupuc Shaku was bigger than life on the screen. Omar Epps was amazing The move was very realistic about growing up in a property area of New York . The way of life was intoxicating then for young black youth

They just don't make them like they used to. "Juice" arrives looking and sounding better than it ever has. The blu-ray offers outstanding A/V, particularly in the video category and in the day and age of empty fluff, this rugged 1990's NYC tale is feels like a breath of fresh air. Great flick, great blu at a great price. Sip this Juice and love it.

So glad Juice got a 4K release. Honestly, the price was right for such an iconic film. Tupac as Bishop is a landmark role. He shines in this film. If you love this movie, this is the release to grab.

Classic film in 4k. Can see a upgrade in picture quality. Colors look more natural. Has some film grain but not much. Looks good considering it was shot on 35mm.
