I loved the creativity of the first film. I thought the cast was perfect and played their roles very well. So I was really looking forward to this one. It is a good movie, but there is one character who didn't fit. Eddie (Danny Devito). Danny Glover was hilarious as Mouse Finbar. Even better when he became the horse. I didn't recognize him at first but the Hound from GoT played Jurgen the Brutal. The new character of Ming made me laugh probably more than I should have. Overall, good and I am happy to own it. But sometimes big name actors do not make a movie better.

Again, this is a Blu-Ray 1080p review... Great video, soundtrack, and story arc. This new franchise surprised me with how good of a ride the first spin-forward was. This movie is just as good... nice follow-up. Makes me wonder what the original would have looked like if they had todays tech...? There is something about an original... but these new takes are pretty creative. The 3 are in my collection.

It’s a sequel but it’s still worth watching. I really enjoyed the switch in characters for the avatars role play. Kevin Hart’s character was awesome and I really enjoyed the dialogue between him and the Rock’s character. The story is simple but the dialogue and humor was outstanding. There is a little more cursing by Jack Blacks avatar but it’s not that overwhelming. Overall I really enjoyed the movie, not as good as the first but still worth having a digital copy and disc. I thought the movie was worth the cost as this movie does have re-watchability.

If you liked the first remake episode, you should like this episode. Similar cast, but Danny DeVito and Danny Glover steal the movie with their natural and in Jumanji characters. Great interaction and character development. A little slow at first, but the tempo picks up and pretty much non stop until the end. 4k HDR graphics are absolutely great as well as the sound.

The two of us loved this movie (actually the both together). Instead of being inferior, this sequel was outstanding - funny, thoroughly enjoyable. The actors really do well playing their characters, and in this one, they even show their skills by getting to maneuver as alternate players too. Additionally, they layed a nice foundation for a future film too - I can't wait.

Very funny...and entertaining sequel. Theater review. Possible spoilers. I remember seeing the 2017 reboot of “Jumanji.” It wasn’t my first choice but the film I wanted to see was full. I still questioned going as I remember the original 1995 version as being ‘meh.’ In any case I went and I loved it. The cast was great, especially Jack Black whose avatar character had been inhabited by a girl. In this direct sequel, the cast remains intact with some great additions in the form of Awkwafina, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover.

this was a very fun and exciting movie and with the 4K visuals were amazing and the sound is incredible, its impressive how much 4K improved the sound quality and ovcourse the picture. I loved the movie and all of the characters were great and not a rehash of the first one. If they can keep making these at the level they have I will watch every one of them.

Once again Nicolas Cage and Kelsey Grammer have come out to impress us with their acting abilities and these titles that unfortunately go straight to BluRay and don't go to the theaters it's a shame really cuz it's a great movie and it should be shown in the big screen but at least you can watch it at home and enjoy these two characters pick it up today

Watching this movie made me want to do the “Jumanji double feature” of Welcome to the Jungle and The Next Level! Very worthy sequel to the first (which was a worthy sequel of the original). This ensemble cast is one the best out there and the added element of switching characters was well done and added a great dimension. 2 Thumbs Way Up!

Overall a very enjoyable movie. Even this was not as good as the prior movie it was still a fun watch. One thing that was a bit of a distraction was how The Rock and Kevin Hart were trying to sound like their characters in the real world. It would have been better without that. The story line was good and the humor even better. Madison Iseman's character continues where she left off in the prior movie which is really good. Karen Gillan provides another great performance.

Great movie. Although it has hard shoes to follow, this movie definitely delivers. What is missing is the incredible element of surprise that was present for the entirety of the first movie. Acting is superb and the addition of new characters and actors including hilarious Awkwafina and Danny Devito delivers. Fans won’t be disappointed.

This movie was hysterical...it brought us some much needed laughter! Danny Devito and Danny Glover have great chemistry, as does the rest of the cast. Some of the jokes and gags have been done before, but somehow it still manages to feel fresh. If you liked the original film, you should give this one a chance too!!

The first Jumanji with Robin Williams was great, the first one with The Rock was very good and enjoyable. This one really went to the next level with the story line and comedy additions of Danny Devito and Danny Glover. A very entertaining movie that kept you fully engaged in the story. Waiting for them to make Jumanji Level 3.

This movie picks up about 6 months after the "in real life" characters finished their first adventures in Jumanji. Both Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson do a great job changing their demeanor based on the "real life" players who got selected for their avatar. If you liked the first revisit to Jumanji, you will love this one.

I absolutely adore the original 1995 film, and most of the time the remake thing just tarnishes it, so I was pleasantly surprised with the approach "Welcome to the Jungle" used. So, it wasn't a remake so much as a continuation. The same may be said about this "sequal to a sequal." It was well paced, and continued the story, with some great action pieces. Plus the fact that it was obvious that the actors were having the time of their lives making it.

It was a pretty good popcorn movie with excellent special-effects and the acting was very good as well. I would definitely watch it again. How ever, the 4K quality of the movie was liking The movie was made in 2k not 4K, this means that the movie tends to look less sharp and more hazy in different areas. In fact most of the Dwayne rock 4K movies are shot in2k in the movies I have seen look less Shart with a lot more haziness in the different movie scenes

I wasn't really into these movies at first, being "loyal" to the original BUT, i'm glad i gave them a chance. they're very fun and while they do have nods to the original, which i find very respectable, they are their own entity and can be enjoyed by all.

It's hard to beat the first one, especially because that one was a new concept and you really didn't know what to expect. This one used some of the same concepts as the first, so in that regard had a slight element of re-use, but they made it different enough that it was it's own entertaining story line.

The action and humor from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is dialed up in this one, making for another very fun film. Watching different actors take turns impersonating wildly different characters works so well in this one. The Steelbook is a step up from the first one in my opinion as well. Looks beautiful in 4K.
