Movie was ok. 3D was ok. Sound & picture was ok.

This is a good movie for science fiction fans. It is not like your regular super hero type of movies.

Great story line, futuristic thinking, creative, & fun.

its a journey to go on... the story lacks back fill and insight... the characters plight always in doubt... story ends with reader hanging... might as well read the books... the leaping here to there is fun... they all have stashes of stores everywhere... would that they got this gain more honorably... what I would also do is explore that this is God's will to do this... as the antagonists are stuck in a religious notion that maybe a lie... what if God wants some of His creation of have such powers BUT at a cost and for a planned purpose... its been play time up to now.....best for sci-fi, teen adventure enthusiasts

This movie will give your brain a work out if you let it. Jumping thru time and space. Was that building already built at the time you arrived? Or was it still and empty lot? Perhaps it was the remnants of a previous structure, ravaged by war or a natural disaster (earth quake) and yet to be demolished? If so could you have landed inside the walls or rubble of that structure? I already have "Jumper" in my video collection. This purchase is one of several which are going into a raffle prize package as part of a fund raiser (for our Local Humane Society). You have to love the concept. It my be possible one day in the not too distant future. If you think not, then try this. Watch one episode of the original "StarTrek" look at the "Tri-corder". Now look at your "Smart phone". Coincidence? I think not. Science "fiction" is the precursor to Science "fact". Watch this movie and imagine the possibilities. Let your brain run wild for just a few brief minutes. Who knows the very first "Jumper" might be YOU. The only thing stopping YOU is YOU. Dare to dream, and then make your dreams come true. We enjoyed this movie very much.

Bought this for the 3D movie. Black Friday sale. Combo disc set at a great price.

This was a very good movie and kept me entertained from the beginning til the very end

Got this movie when we bought a 3D tv and 3D sony dvd player. I know that there have been some bad reviews but we are casual viewers and new to the 3D world. We enjoyed it very much. I know you can probably buy it somewhere else cheaper, but when we bundled everything, and took advantage of Best Buy's no interest for 18 mos., we wanted to be able to watch a movie right away. My wife and I both feel this is one that we would watch over and over.

Very good movie and much more when you can see it in 3D

This was a decent movie and Hayden Christiansen's acting was better than anythjng he did in Star Wars episodes 1 and 2.

What would happen if you could teleport ANYWHERE in the world in the blink of an eye? Thats the question explored in Jumper, a film thats as fast and action packed as it is hollow and underdeveloped. The films theme of individuals who can vanish and reappear anywhere they choose is a great idea but its execution is a little weak in Jumper. Why? The blame rest squarely on the films instance on being the start of a series. Instead of taking time to develop anything in the movie, Jumper just whizzes by at an incredible speed, setting up characters, ideas and plot points without expanding or resolving or developing them. The whole thing is made to kick start a franchise of films where the story would be explained in more detail, but come on man, when you pay to see a film, you expect to see a clearly defined beginning, a middle and a satisfying end- something that Jumper isn't too concerned with.

Okay, it's not really a great movie (and it kinda tanked at the box office), but the video and audio are pretty impressive. I don't have a 3D player, but it was on sale (and came with a blu-ray) so I picked one up. Hayden Christensen has always been a pretty boring actor, but it's pretty easy to ignore his performance and just take in the video and audio feast. Worth the purchase.

I know this won't be for everyone but it's good to me and since I was able to get the blu-ray and digital copy for $5 it was a good buy. The digital copy can only be uploaded by using the disc though instead of a code, so that kind of sucked since my main computer I ise doesn't have a dvd drive. Luckily I had a computer with one still.

Having purchased many 3D movies for my tv in the past I have seen some really good 3D movies. The story line was great however the 3D effects were average. I expected more come out of the tv effects, this movie only provided depth and no jump out at you effects which surprised me since this was an action movie.

This was a surprise hit when it came out and there was a sequel in the works that sadly never happened. It delivers a fun action packed story and a better performance from Christensen than seen in the Prequels. Sam Jackson is the man, as always. Looks great in 3D too.

With movies now available from many sources, spending a fortune on titles just doesn't make sense. That being said, a very attractive sale price made this a nice addition to the video cabinet and it is right there for easy playing when we have time and want to see some action in 3D!

At a quick 88 minutes, "Jumper" is a fast paced sci-fi triller. Directed by Doug Liman of "Go" and "The Bourne Identity", "Jumper" is no great art but it reminds me of "Push", which I also enjoyed. And I has a surprise cameo at the end of the movie. Fun stuff.

Overall, a good movie, I'd say. I'm always a little surprised at how good an actor Hayden Christensen is, as I always have to get past his wooden Star Wars performances - that was the fault of the writing, I believe. The video and audio on the blu-ray is very good.

I was looking to buy a 3D blu-ray disc, I ended up buying this one because it was the least expensive and the synopsis of the movie on the box sounded interesting. The movie itself ended up being just average but by no means was it a let down. The 3D effects though are fantastic.
