Car: 2001 Infinity i30 Needed accessories: Make sure to by antenna adapter if you are replacing the bose factory stereo. The antenna is a 2 prong cord, and the JVC is a single prong input. Also Make sure to buy the wiring harness that is not included in the stereo purchase. This harness is to connect your old wiring to the new input and harness of the new stereo. Make sure to buy stereo faceplate and bracket kit. If you are getting for 2001 NIssan maxima or INfinity i30, don't get the one that they suggest on best buy. The metra kit sucked. I had to tweak and break the kit's bracket to make it work with the new stereo, plus it didn't include the 4 screws for the faceplate. A 1 hour stereo installation became a 6hour nightmare trying to go get screws, to tewaking brackets to fit. Install: Everything was easy except for the metra grey kit that I purchased with this stereo. The wiring was easy to connect. However, the factory stereo has 3 wiring harness and you are only connecting 2 of the harness to the new input. Which means 1 harness is not connected to anything, and that must be the steering wheel controls harness. Also, not sure if this is related, but my cruise control is now no longer working. It turns on, but it will not activate. I will check to the cruise control actuator under the steering column and see if that needs to be replaced or not. DVD NOT WORKING? Light green wire hint: That is to be attached to your parking brake module. And if you do not know where it is. Don't worry. Just ground that to metal chassis and it will be great. This will allow you to play dvds for your passengers while you're driving. If you attach to the parking brake module, then the dvd will not show video, unless you're parked.

The only complaint I have and I'm sure you will get this with any screen, is the sun glare. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. But sounds good. I enjoy watching movies while I'm at lunch.

THIS UNIT IS VERY NICE AND EASY TO USE. IT HAS GREAT SOUND

For roughly $250 including the extra parts you need, I guess it’s a decent deal. The radio takes a while to connect to Bluetooth and kicks you off the Bluetooth for no reason randomly. The sound quality is good and it’s easy to use.

I like the product it's pretty good once you get used to navigating on it but not a good idea while you're driving of course, I would have given it 5 stars just because the technician was so helpful, but because of the Fact that I had to learn to navigate the system I have to give this 4 stars. Please Keep in mind that I am older and that the younger folks would probably not find this a problem.
