    Was disappointed to discover that the font size, which is too big, could not be changed. The side menu's consume too much space.

    I tried to make it work but it’s not what I expected. A lot of the options had to have additional components.

    Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. After 4 months it started acting up. Now it doesn’t even shut off.

    So far, so good...I was reluctant to purchase this device with the high number of negative reviews. Lucky to say, mine works great. I haven't tried all app's yet but Android Auto works flawlessly. Also, this is one of the strongest tuners I've owned, and I've owned plenty. Sound is only slightly above average, though this is likely due to the cheap speakers I have installed in my vehicle. Overall this is a great deal for an AA receiver.

    This was an upgrade after 10 months with the 830BT nightmare (starting over randomly). Four trips back to Best Buy and 2 re-installs...) Well, the restarting issue is fixed and I love the unit or I would not have replaced with a JVC. But I still have issues: (1) Weblink is quirky at best and I'm sad it was added. (2) Waze took the spot of the phone icon!?! But you can't use Waze unless connected via Weblink. Ugh! (3) Android auto freezes every time i use it. I have tried with various phones. JVC, you still have work to do! Please update the firmware to address these issues...

    Overall great unit! Especially for the price! I have had it 3 years now and has been in 2 different cars. And it has held up well. Apple CarPlay works great. The only complaint is how bad it glares in the sun. Can't hardly see it when the sun is bright and during sunset.

    It looks good, but the user interface leaves a lot to be desired. The WebLink app is spotty if it works at all and I wasn't able to use any of the apps consistently without problems (waze specifically). Anytime a text or phone call comes in, the app you're using through WebLink crashes. Apple CarPlay is nice, but when I spoke to people on my phone through CarPlay, they complained of an echo on my end--this didn't happen when I used blue tooth alone (without CarPlay). I ended up exchanging it for a similar Pioneer receiver that I haven't had any problems with. The only downside is the lack of apps, but with CarPlay expanding with the new iOS this fall (2018), that shouldn't be a problem for very long.

    Gets the job done but UI/UX is poor

    Like nearly all of Kenwood/JVC products, they scrimp on UX design to make the interface usable, clear and ultimately safe to use without distraction. This is my second unit after owning a model and sad to say things have gotten even worse. And the Apple Car Play interface isn't much of a help.

    Good, but can't get Apple CarPlay to work

    I just got this radio installed today and I cannot get the Apple CarPlay to work. I have the iPhone XS Max, and I have it connected to the USB. Also, the USB cord is connected in my glovebox which almost stops my glovebox from closing... don't like the positioning of it. Not satisfied so far.
