Bought this for my 04 Toyota Sienna. Pros: This unit has big deep bass sound even when using factory speakers. Has 8 presets and 3 user equalizer settings. Color configurable light display to match your dashboard display. Display will show Title and Artist of the song on FM radio but only depending on the station. Has dancing equalizer display. Has Bluetooth to make and answer phone calls and play your music playlists. Easy to pair Bluetooth. Has built-in Alexa. Has large volume control knob. Cons: Not touchscreen. Hard to see display during daytime. Still uses combination segmented passive "8" display and matrix display. Uses external mic.

Excellent Radio for your car, old Pontiac Vibe/Matrix factory deck lights went out...no need to fix it, when you can get a new one like this..This JVC adds so much to your car, Bluetooth, Aux..call capabilities...etc..etc..don't' need CD's ..who does anymore?? Even made my factory speakers sound much better than before..the So many Custom colors to match the lights for my car and many others.. Happy i made the purchase and Best Buy did a great job with install..

Easy to install, works great! Love the colors and good display options

At 66 years old my audiophile days are over. When the factory deck in my Ram truck bit the dust I was looking for a reasonably priced unit that was functional and simply did what I needed it to do. Play music, have a reliable Bluetooth function and (extremely important) something that I could see and understand while driving. I did not need a bunch of bells and whistles and after searching I decided on the JVC. I am extremely glad I did. Everything works perfectly, the display is obviously large and easy to read. The sound is very good, the Bluetooth is great and works every time. I am an outside sales rep and I'm on my phone alot while traveling, I wish I had done this a long time ago. It was easy enough to set up and after two or three months I couldn't be more satisfied. When I bought mine Best Buy had free installation and the tech was excellent, every thing went smoothly and as promised. Only one problem and it was totally my fault. I often prefer cd's instead of fooling with music on my phone or Pandaora or whatever. I bought this on Best Buy's website and when I did I bought the receiver with no c.d. player. They look identical (except for the cd slot) and I just clicked the wrong thing, not realizing it until after it was installed I know, stupid and careless. I like this unit so much I may rebuy it with the cd and install it myself since it's already got the hardware, not sure. Regardless this is an excellent , dependable product at a great price, very satisfied but wish I had the cd player.

I bought this for my 2005 Toyota Camry XLE with the factory JBL amp and after installing this myself, I've been surprised every time with the sound quality that my car is truly capable of! I upgraded from an FM transmitter that had feedback and background static no matter what channel I had it set to. Replacing my head unit and using Bluetooth removed the extra audio artifacts completely. I've never replaced a car stereo before but I used Best Buy's site and Crutchfield to find the dash kit, wiring harness (that retained my factory amp, model # 70-8113 btw), and steering controls that I used to make everything work. It was really just a matter of wiring everything up from there. I love the level of customization I get with the colors and the audio settings of this head unit. I don't regret not going with a double din touchscreen head unit since I use my iPhone for navigation and music. I think this head unit style fits my car's interior better anyways. This head unit works great for me and I would definitely recommend it to a friend with an older vehicle.

My teenage daughter loves this! It changes colors and has lots of features. Her phone hooked up easily to Bluetooth. I got this for a good price and Best Buy installed it for free!

I have a 2005 4Runner. I wanted to stream my own music because it's getting really difficult to find decent radio stations. I had a Bluetooth adapter for my cigarette lighter, but I just hate all the extra mess between that and an adapter for a charger. This fits perfect. You will need a face plate to fill in about 1/2" gaps on both sides. I recommend the Metra if you happen to have a 4Runner, it looks great. Loving the autoconnect when I get into the car. Spotify, Pandora, or just direct Bluetooth stream. Also, if you have a Toyota you probably have dual antennas. One for AM and one for FM. Just pick up a cable to merge the two, or don't worry about the AM antenna if you don't use it

The sound quality is excellent, I took the advice on Crutchfield and mounted the mic in the same pocket as the interior lights in the headliner and ran the wire on top of the headliner to and underneath the driver door channel seal and then under the dash (phone calls are clear as a bell). The radio functions were easy to set up as was the bluetooth with the phone. Hands free works great and the radio is easy to use.

Honestly... I usually upgrade vehicles to a super nice deck,,, I had a beater truck that I use for work so I bought this and had it installed... And WOW. Bluetooth connectivity is great, cool color options... overall a very nice choice if your not looking to spend too much or have a vehicle that is not in need of a super expensive deck.. This is top choice in my opinion.

I really like this radio for the cost. I recently got a new (to me) car and wanted to put in a new radio to have bluetooth connection. I tried a much more expensive Pioneer radio with a touchscreen and Android Auto, but the sound quality when using AA was terrible. Returned that right away and bought this one. The volume knob has a nice feel to it, and the radio looks great in the dash. I've become a big fan of JVC car radios after having a slightly older version of this one in another vehicle. Overall the best option for the price, in my opinion.

I decided to give my 2001 Suburban a face lift and purchase the JVC receiver. Because of the price I didn't think it would be getting a good system. Much to my surprise the system sounds amazing, and the blue tooth is awesome. It's taking me a while to learn to program and use all the functions. Every time I make time to learn more about the system, I'm more impressed with its capabilities. When I was shopping, the cost range for a stereo was from $80 to over $600. I can't imagine how a stereo that cost over $600 would sound because of how amazing the stereo I purchased sounds

Great car stereo for the price. Sound is pretty good, maybe a little tiny at times, but I use mostly for AM radio and news and a clock, not so much music but it's nice to have after two years without a radio in my SUV. Lights are not too annoying and easy free installation was fantastic and fast. I forgot to keep the box though and you need it to register it with the serial number that's on it so keep that in mind if having installed.

This car stereo offers a plethora of features all in one. It allows the user to have access to a wide array of choice in which ine can listen to music. Whether it be via bluetooth from cell phone to pandora, the choice is yours. It allows the user to customize the colors of the display to match your vehicle's interior lighting and exceptional sound tuning. A great value indeed.

Bought a Sony and the screen was too dim to see. Went back to Best Buy with the 15 day return and got this radio. first Best Buy let me trade it in no questions asked, they were wonderful! Next this radio is VERY nice!!!!! I can see the display, nice color options and Alexa is happy. For the price I would 100% recommend this radio. My only complaint is there is no manual and you will need to look it up on the Internet. I'm very happy and if it last I'll be even happier. Thank you Best Buy Janesville, WI

Great quality receiver, love all the settings to change the colors. The Bluetooth sometimes takes a bit to connect but other then that it works great and looks great. Would highly recommend.
