Simple and good fitness earbuds!

These are great for using during workouts, running or exercise in general as they are durable and have over the ear hooks for the best fit while doing these activities. These are going to be the set I use for these activities and save my more expensive buds for everyday activities.
What's great:
Sound quality
Fit and adjustability
Water/Sweat resistance
Auto-pairing
Noise cancelling
Case is small/compact
Good battery life
Where they could be better:
Touch commands are confusing and with no app to customize or learn what they are easily.
Overall, I think these are pretty good for what their intended use is. If you need a set to pop in your gym bag without worrying about losing an expensive set of buds and you want noise cancellation these definitely work for that. The only complaint I have (and it's minor) is the touch controls are tricky and hard to get used to (like for turning volume up/down, skipping, etc.). I found myself going to my phone to do most things unless it was just answering a call or skipping. Outside of that I didn't have any other issues/things I didn't care for and would recommend them. They are the perfect kick around pair to keep for workouts or situations where you don't want to lose/destroy your expensive ones.

Powerhouse in ear fitness headphones

Wireless headphones for working out need to easily stay in your ear while being sweat proof and compact and still have a great sound without breaking the bank. JVC does the job not only creating a small compact footprint case but wireless powerhouses resembling the same JVC speaker quality and being reasonably priced and have the sound found in any JVC equipment. These easily sync with your favorite devices and set up is easy and not only do they stay in your ear, the behind the ear design is a worry free holder that helps to create a seal, to block out external sounds. What I liked best about these is they are also sweat proof and made for fitness and I can use them when I run, walk or do weight workouts without the worry of them falling out, JVC is known for quality and reasonable prices and these are no different and hold the same quality and value that JVC is known for. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing a fitness headphone that’s wireless and compact and holds in the ear.

There are far better options!

Let's start with the positive - adjustable earpieces and a comfortable fit.
I have mixed emotions about the adjustable earpieces. On one hand they can be made to fit just about any ear shape. The downfall? Getting them back into the case. Instead of simply being able to place them into the charging case, you have to adjust them into place. So each and every time these are worn - you fit them to your ear then fit them to the case. It's kind of a pain and inconvenient. It also makes me wonder about the longevity of the adjustability.
Once in the ear they are actually comfortable, at least about the first 45 minutes or so. They do stay in place as well.
Now for the mid.
Pairing wasn't the most straightforward or stable. I connected these to an iPhone 17 Pro and a Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel seemed to connect right away and has remained stable. The iPhone took a couple of times to find them and has lost connection twice.
Battery life is average. Nothing to write home about and will certainly get you through a workout or a few hours of daily use.
The charging case is huge in comparison to just about every other brand on the market. Not the most convenient or pocketable case out there, though it is light. I do appreciate the USB-C charging and the three dot charging light indicator.
Touch controls do work as advertised, but can be activated by other things touching them. For instance, wearing these while laying down, I've had multiple instances of accidental "button presses".
Finally, the bad.
Sound quality is horrendous. Audio is bland, especially when listening to music. Phone calls are ok, but the output volume is so low. Watching videos sounds muted.
Well why don't you adjust the audio settings? Great question and I'd love to. However, the app is absolute trash. Well I should clarify - there are multiple JVC apps on the App Store and Play Store - NONE of which are compatible with these in-ear headphones. NONE! I made multiple attempts to connect through multiple apps on multiple devices - all with multiple failures. How do you have a product like this and NO functioning app.
I cannot recommend these at all. I am so unimpressed and underwhelmed. I really expected more from JVC.

Save your money and buy a better set

Overall: While JVC is a known name in audio, this particular model left much to be desired, feeling generally weak and cheap, despite an acceptable, if unremarkable, sound profile. While these are on the cheaper end, so reduced fidelity is expected, you can do much better for only a little more with models from Jabra, Skullcandy, or Beats. Only consider these if you absolutely do not have the budget or ability to save up for a better set.
The sound quality of the HAEC75tb is best described as "OK." It manages to reproduce audio without significant distortion, but the overall presentation is notably weak. The sound lacks the richness, depth, and dynamic range that advanced users expect from modern wireless earbuds. These will be slightly better than the built in speaker on your phone, but not measurably. Going for true wireless headphones in the $70-100 will make a noticeable difference, if you like music. If all you listen to is talk / podcasts, these will be fine.
The fit was manageable, though not premium. The earbuds include various tips, but achieving a secure, comfortable seal was difficult. I never really got there. After 30 minutes or so, the earbuds felt too uncomfortable to leave in. The controls were easy to use, The controls were easy to use. Allowing for. The controls were easy to use. Allowing for simple touches to skip tracks, increase volume or decrease it. While these claim to have active noise cancellation. I did not detect any noticeable change when it was on. This could have been related to the poor fit and lack of isolation provided by the silicon ear tips.
Connectivity was good. I was able to quickly pair the earbuds to my phone on the first try. The connection was very stable. I did not leave the earbuds in long enough to test the battery life.

A few pros but these are a headache

These have a few specific pros but way more cons so I'll just lay them all out:
PROS
Long battery life for sure
Design is more helpful than regular earbuds
Initial connectivity is quick and easy
CONs
Lacks strong bass I'm used to with over ear headphones
Connectivity --- One earbud often comes disconnected (customer service rep said this has been a regular occurrence) -- then, I often need to
Low volume it seems - mine just stays on the highest setting
The ear curve design is NOT adjustable -- this was especially disappointing because I need it to hug my ear much closer
Call quality - the person on the other end says they can't hear me often, so I just take them out and talk regularly on my phone.
Sadly, the cons are outweighing the pros in my experience, even though I really wanted to like these.
They do charge well, and do okay with just music, but not calls. I mainly got these for fitness/workout use but since my over ear headphones do not come with all of these issues listed above, I think I will probably give these away as a Christmas present and just keep my headphones.
