    The JVC Flats Over The Ear Headphones are great for use with either an iPod or a conventional music player. Unlike earbuds, they don't go directly in your ear, so your chance of going deaf is reduced. In addition, the sound is much fuller than that of earbuds. The only trouble is, my first pair turned out to be defective. That, though, was probably a fluke, being that JVC had a great reputation as a maker of high-quality equipment.
