    AWESOME Sound & Fit

    Posted .

LOVE LOVE LOVE these headphones!! The Best Buy description is misleading (iOS) makes one think they wouldn't work with Android, but they do! Paired easily with my Motorola phone. They are off the chain! Glad I got the warranty on these cause I'm hard on stuff and I could wear these babies forever! The Sound is POWERFUL!! UNREAL for the price!!! When I looked for new headphones I took manufacturer into account & JVC has ALWAYS made great electronics & awesome sounding speakers. The fit is amazing! I thought the necklace around my neck might bother me but it's so lightweight you don't notice it. And the earbuds are like earplugs, so you pinch them and then they expand when u put in your ears, which minimizes outside noise and increases the high & low tones & bass. The controls are easy to reach and use. I haven't tried making a call with them yet, I will later today and see how well the microphone and sound is during a call. Can't imagine it won't be great also! **MUST CHARGE BEFORE USING THEY DON'T COME READY TO USE** That was the only small issue. Patience while waiting for them to get a full charge so I could try them out lol!!

Got these to take along on hikes. They work great. Very light weigh, you almost forget that they are on your neck. They sync up easy with the devices and the sound is great.

    Could Do Better

I was looking for a new hands-free piece when I saw this in BB at a fairly good price. The problem with it is that it is cumbersome - particularly if you're wearing a coat as you have to keep the microphones from getting covered. The recipient of the call has frequently stated that my conversation "breaks up" while I'm speaking though I don't know why. Will likely go back to one piece for the ear that's less hassle.

I think these headphones are great for the price because let's face it we don't want to charge anything ever and with these headphones you only probably need to charge it after a full week of using it also let's let's talk about the the appearance it's it's lightweight it looks appealing and it's comfortable the music is fair better than most wireless headphones especially the base end the app is a cool little added feature. Now my dislikes for the headphones are minor like the fact that I have to fidget with the charging port just to get it in because it's it's so well-placed to conceal the port from sweat which I guess is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time also the buttons are just a little too small and are placed a little too high I find myself constantly bending my arm and wrist really far up my neck just to press buttons other than that everything's great the adjustable bands are great the earbuds are snug the Bluetooth connectivity is great and i like the vibrates it has for notifications. Also i use it in the shower and havn't had any problems. But i wouldnt fully submerge them in it.

    Bluetooth Behind-the-Neck Headphones

I'm quite satisfied with these headphones. I wanted some Bluetooth headphones for listening to music while at work with an 8+ hour battery life. The product specs says there is a 12 hour battery life however I'm convinced it is much longer. The sound quality is perfect for me. I've compared it to other headphones I own and found a noticeable difference in clarity although it's important to note that I have an inner ear issue and cannot tolerate increased bass tones. I'd love to rate them with 5 stars however there are unfortunately a couple of cons that aren't completely outweighed by the pros. The necklace (for lack of the proper name) is way too flexible and I sometimes worry that it will fall off so I try to keep at least 1 ear bud plugged in whether I'm listening to them or not. Also there is no voice instruction. So rather than voice updates about the battery strength, you get hardly audible beeps when it's time to charge - although as i said the battery life is impressive so I've always been at home by the time it wears out. This leads to another con as it then becomes necessary to charge the headphones without knowing how much life is left on the battery - which is most likely not healthy for the battery. And since the extensive battery life means an extensive charge time, I charge overnight. Another con is that there is only a tiny red light that goes out when the unit is charged. I opted for the insurance and am very glad I did because the power button collapsed after only a few months so I was able to return them to Best Buy for a new unit. The process was streamlined and painless, and I was back in my car within 15 minutes. Overall, I'm very happy with these headphones.

I recently purchased these Bluetooth headphones to replace my LG Tone headphones (purchased in 2014). In the past I purchased JVC wired headphones and experienced quality sound for the price. I figured I would have similar luck with this pair. Pros: Lightweight Comfortable in ear Good battery life Quick charge time Good connectivity with minimal lag (videos) Clear sound during video/phone calls Cons: Padding is not interchangeable ("one size fits all", OSFA) Volume control is tricky Earbuds fall out of ear with head/jaw movements Headset falls off from head movements Earbud wires are cumbersome Overall, these headphones are good. The cons are minor inconveniences that affect daily usage. The OSFA padding doesn't work for all users and the fact the headset falls off the back of my neck and onto my shoulder is a disaster waiting to happen. In my opinion, the price point is too high for this set. I'd wait for this product to go on sale or clearance before I recommend it to anyone.

I've been looking to get a set of Bluetooth headphones for a while. When I travel I use my Fire tablet to watch downloaded content and using wired headphones was getting awkward. I also wanted something I could use with my phone while walking or biking. I wasn't sure about the quality of any of the options so I went with this set. It wasn't the cheapest and it definitely wasn't the most expensive. They are solid headphones. The battery life has been excellent! So far I've only charged them once and I've used them for several hours and they are still above 50% charged. The sound quality is decent. Nothing spectacular, but they're earbuds, so I don't expect that without shelling out a lot more money. Pairing them is easily done, I've paired them to my phone and my tablet with no issues. The neckband can get a bit awkward at times. But for the price, I can live with that.

This is just a basic wireless headphone. I use them for work so they serve the purpose. I had a set of LG headphones before and they had a lot more features. Voice would let you know you are connected - Vibrate when a call was coming in etc. This unit does not have those features. I would recommend these as a basic set but not for someone that wants a full featured set of headphones

They’re not bad as far as blue tooth head phones go, but honestly I prefer the sound and wearability of the Skull Candy Method. Method’s neck piece has a more pronounced curve to it that does a better job sitting on your neck. Marshmallow takes a while to fire up as well... like 5 seconds instead of the usual 3.. no biggie really, but every now and then I wonder if I accidentally entered pairing mode, then I here the power-up chime and all is well. Most importantly you have to crank the volume up to hear sound, but the sound quality suffers. They do a good job of staying in my ears while working out and my sweat hasn’t killed them yet so that’s good right?

I bought a pair and 10 months later, the battery would not hold a charge. JVC honored the 1 year warranty so that's a plus. After 10 months with the replacement pair, I can tell it's about time to replace them. The wires are thin. The right side no longer works. Despite careful use, there's a short in the cord. I'd give it 5 stars for battery life, comfort, and fit, 3 stars for volume, 2 stars for durability and 2 stars for the microphone. (Lots of people have mentioned they can't hear me well when I use them for calls. I will try a different brand this time.

My wife purchased these for work and she has really enjoyed them. I think they are a little bulky, but the audio quality is good and they function sufficiently. Sometimes the charge doesn't seem to be consistent, but it may be because we use different mini USB cords. We both have the iphone, and it takes a bit of time to configure it to the IOS device.

    Great earbuds

I really like these earbuds. I had some before that didn’t have the flexible neck thing and they weren’t comfortable around my neck. They kept pulling each time I turned my head. Due to the discomfort, I wouldn’t put them around my neck and ended up laying them down and losing them. These don’t do that. They are very comfortable. I sometimes forget they are around my neck. Another thing I love is the battery life. It seems to last forever. I charged them and used them about an hour a day and they lasted a couple of weeks. The earbuds fit in my ears really well...but you definitely have to squish them before putting them in. The only negative I have is I wish the stereo sound was a little better. It is good but could be a little better. I think the bass sounds need to be a little deeper.

The audio was fine for music from my phone. However the audio was bad enough that I had to switch to my phone audio when making calls. Both calls I made the other person complained that they could barely hear my voice and there was a lot of background noise. The problem disappeared when switching to phone so it was a result of these headphones.

Okay headphones but didn't last long

The headphones are decent for a cheaper Bluetooth model, but the sound in the left earbud is muffled/nearly out after only 5 weeks. I use them almost daily for both calls and music. I had no issues with the volume as others have commented and find the max volume sufficient for my needs. The volume controls are different than all of the other headphones I've used, causing me to accidentally skip a few songs while streaming music. Pressing the volume buttons multiple times skips songs; holding the buttons changes the volume. There *is* a beep to indicate when the volume is at max or min. The call quality isn't that great. While I generally have no issues hearing others, people often complain that they can't hear me clearly, even after I adjust the mic position. The battery life is pretty good; I can use them for at least a day or two without recharging. I do like that there is a battery level indicator when they're connected with an iPhone. As for the design, I hated the foam ear pieces that came with the headphones because they didn't stay in my ears. I ended up replacing them with rubber covers from a different pair of headphones. The behind-the-neck piece that connects the two ear buds is made out of a flexible material, which causes the headphones to slide to either side of my shoulders or fall off completely sometimes. I would probably get a better quality/more expensive pair if I had the chance.

The problems I have experienced are the neck band doesn't stay on well and I have difficulty getting them in my ears (could just be isolated issue). I have had them quite a while and are used frequently. I am very satisfied with the sound quality and durability. I have dropped and set on them many times. I have had them catch and pulled off my neck or snatched off charging cord... no damage what so ever. Holds a charge for a very very long time.. impressive to me. The neck band does not hold its shape after several months of use, but yet to replace them. They work as well as the first day I bought them.
