Bought for a trip to Vegas. Haven't gone on the trip yet, but have played around with the camcorder. Records with good video quality and the pictures look great as well. Sound is ok, but not great. The weakest point of the camera is the zoom. It is purely digital so video quality drops with zoom. Have yet to test out underwater. Using a 32GB memory which is recommended. For the money and for my purpose it's not a bad purchase. If you are picky about everything coming out perfect then I'd recommend moving up to the $200 range in camcorders.

got this camera 1 month before vacation so i could figure out how to use it. after one use at an indoor pool, only went 2' under water the screen started to flicker. later that day i dried it out how your meant to and the screen has never worked since. called best buy and its after 15 days so im S.O.L with getting a new one. Dont buy this its a waste of money.
