This stereo system is easy to use and it sounds great.

I put this radio in one of our trucks because the factory radio went out. Our driver doesn't have any complaints.

This was a replacement for the stock CD/stereo in our Toyota Corolla, and could not be more pleased with the results. Easy scheduling for a quick installation, and now have more choices in music on the road. Required some additional purchase of stuff to get the unit to fit in the car, but well worth the final price.

I did install this an a 87' Town Car, flawlessly, no issues, works like a charm! Phone calls thru my cell and music sounds so nice. I am really glad I purchase it. It has so many features I have not set yet. Will buy again. I did silver solder all cables for better hold and connection.

Bought for my son's car. He loves the functionality and well it worked with his external speakers.

This is a nice looking unit and blends well with the interior of the car. The controls that are used to turn up the volume and switch stations is also pretty good. The programming of the features for the radio are not so good. The instruction book is not well written for precise information on how to program the radio for bluetooth, color choices, and presets. You will have to call the tech support line to get "help", once thats done its good to go.

Receiver looks good and seems to produce quality sound. Installation instructions were easy enough to follow. Only issue I've had is getting my iPhone 7 to connect via Bluetooth. Connects for a few seconds before disconnecting then I can't get it to connect again without powering the receiver down. Have yet to get it to connect and stay connected.

This is a good radio and the price was awesome. Will recommend this product

I recently purchased a 98 civic for a daily driver and it came with the Alpine CDE-133BT head unit. However, the bluetooth functionality was no longer working and so I started looking for something to replace it and came across the JVC KD-X340BTS when it was on sale and decided to buy it. I knew full well that this is a media player and there's no CD slot, but I hadn't used a CD player in years anyway. What I needed was something I could connect my phone to via bluetooth so I could stream Spotify and/or other online music players and this receiver served that purpose well. Installation was easy (I installed it myself) for someone who had never installed a car stereo before. There's no instruction on how to install but a quick Google search and a couple of YouTube videos showed me what I needed to do. Once the receiver had been installed, I immediately connected the receiver to my phone. This was a little bit confusing at first because typically, one would have to enter into the menu and to be in "discoverable" mode to be paired. This is not the case with the JVC. As soon as your input is switched to bluetooth and there are no devices paired, the head unit will automatically be in discover mode. I didn't realize this and kept going into the menu and trying the "test" mode and my phone kept getting unpaired after testing was done. Once the phone was paired, I started playing with the system. The unit has extensive system where you can specify what size speakers you have and where they are located (rear deck, front door, etc). It also allows you to specify the distance from the speaker to the driver seat to calibrate the best sound for you. Anyway, I think I've written too much about how awesome this head unit is. And for the price that I had paid for this? I would buy this unit ten times over. Highly recommended if you're looking for something that's nice sounding and affordable.
