I've been using the JVC Gumy Noise Cancelling earbuds for about a week now. The Gumy's (why 1 "M" I will never know) that have the more complicated full name of HA-A23T are JVCs Premium Noise Cancelling earbuds. If the box you get - the JVC Gumy's and charging case (USB C charging) - a short USB A to USB C cable - some different sized eartips In the instructions, I also discovered they have a full 1 year warranty - which at this price point is VERY good. The Gumy's paired to my iPhone fast, there was no prompt to download an app. When I was adjusting them, I discovered they have touch controls, where the JVC logo is - so you can tap the right one to turn noise cancelling on/off, etc. and the left can used adjust audio an2005180205180d bass mode. I would recommend turning on bass mode (long tap on left). At first the Gumy's a little uncomfortable, they have medium tips by default. I ended up switching to a slightly smaller ear tip. There's actually 4 different tips in total (including the 1 already fitted). So you can get that perfect sweet spot. As for noise cancelling, while JVC call them "Gumy Premium" and the noise cancelling is good, it's not great. This is where I am trying to be fair and reasonable, at this price I'm not expecting $200 quality noise cancelling. For light background noise, a fan in your office, they're good. I tested them on the subway, where they offered more above-average noise isolation but not what I would call great noise cancellation. But for the price, hard to fault - I mean I have seen non-noise cancelling earbuds at this price, so it's worth picking the JVC. In terms of audio quality, for the price - it's very good. Call audio is great, with no issue for me or the person I called. Music playback is very good and was MUCH better when I turned on bass mode. I was impressed with the responsiveness of the touch controls for skipping tracks. At this price point, this is a nice touch and good value. Overall, for the price, these are good value noise cancelling earbuds, especially for office environments if you want to block light background A/C noise, or at home if you want to silence a fan. I plan to use the Gumy's with my Switch 2, when I play at night - as my partner doesn't want to hear Mario Kart while they're watching TV. So for me, very happy with these JVC Gumy's (even if I want to call them Gummys).
