Heats up well too. However handle that laches made of cheap plastic and broke during second use. I will take it to bestbuy to see if they can return it.

Works well enough, but the chemical smell is awful

I have used it a few times and the smell hasn't gone away. It smells a bit like pool floats being melted. I do like all the plates for it, and I will keep it. I just hope that awful smell goes away soon.

It takes around 10 minutes to make a grilled cheese sandwich (that is cooking time not including prep time) just to get a nice light tanned grill marks.
