She talked about learning to code & thought this would be a great introduction for her. Directions were well written so she could follow along & perform all tasks herself (no help needed from the Parents). The spells are fun and amusing. The wand motions add to the effect & HP Fans will enjoy this. Caution: make sure you check system requirements first. Game doesn’t work on all tablets - make sure you have the right hardware to use wand. The codes here are very specific - it doesn’t seem that you are able to create your own app for this wand. Not a big deal for us (as she’s just learning) but for more experienced kids may be an issue. All in all it’s a success. This already has more replay value than the hatchimal from last Christmas!

So immersive you don’t feel limited to the screen, I love the profile customization and can’t get enough of the fun activities and challenges while learning how to do more on my own in sandbox mode.

My daughter was looking forward to this for her birthday and was excited to try it only to be upset. Says it works with android devices. Reviews on other sites have stated the same thing, as well as glitches. Wish I read those reviews before purchasing.
