    Can't Stop Listening!

I fell in love with aesthetics of these speakers long before hearing them, after watching and reading multiple reviews was able to find a great price for a open box and decided to see if they sound as good as they look. Connected to a 2 channel Nikko s510 amp, and primary listening with a U-Turn Orbit + turntable. From two weeks of listening with tweaks to amp settings at differentiating volume levels, The Kef q350 fits well within my setup. The speakers have great lows and while it takes cranking it higher than usual to get that Kick of room filling sound It does create realistic warm tones and realistic deep bass. The crossover is phenomenal creating the ability for the music to become its own atmosphere. Hours have been spent listening to songs with a perspective of greater sound. Listening to music has always been a good pastime these make it great.

Fantastic sound. I use my Q350's on 28-inch stands and with a high-quality subwoofer. The Q350's sound really good on their own, well balanced with good but not deep bass and very good imaging. Adding the subwoofer was transformative. I can't say the make and model but it's a moderately large 10" ported subwoofer with a 350 watt amp. I'm driving the KEFs with the 125 wpc Sonos AMP which has built-in bass management making it all easy to put together and blend. At the regular retail price the Q350 is a good value. At the sale price over Christmas they are an absolute steal.

Got these on sale and I got to tell you I couldn't be happier. First they get LOUD, these are no joke. The size makes that evident as these are large and very clearly in charge. The sound is also crazy clean and clear. I'd suggest pairing them with a nice sub and you got one heck of a setup.

Great sound from these small speakers. They really fill a medium size room with amazing sound. Exclusively been listening to vinyl records through these and I’m impressed. Clear highs and mids, with enough low frequency to not need a sub if your only listening to music.

I have owned these now exactly 1 year and I love them! I auditioned the B&W 607-2s expecting to buy them but found them a bit shrill, bright. These KEFs at a slightly lower cost are warmer overall without sacrificing detail. They took a good 50 hours to break-in and sound their best, and their best is very good indeed. Detailed and amazing bass for such small boxes. Not fussy about placement in my 12'X25' listening room but definitely at their best 15-20" out from the wall and on a solid non-resonant base. They excel at female vocals, acoustic music and jazz. Probably not the best choice for most rock or metal music.

    A Very Good Speaker

Excellent detail, great soundstage and imaging when playing music. Can get a tad “edgy” in the upper midrange region with some vocals and brass instruments, but not overbearing (and perhaps will smoothen with more playtime). Punchy, full bottom end...but would do better with a subwoofer for more modern genres of music and definitely for home theater applications (they pair extremely well with my SVS SB-2000 Pro). I’ve auditioned a few brands of bookshelf speakers over the last couple of months (Elac, SVS, Triangle), and for me, the Q350s offered the smoothest, most detailed and punchiest sound. One thing I noted...after running Audyssey on my Denon AVR, the differences between Stereo mode with DSP, etc., and Pure Direct mode were the least out of all the speakers I tried...a positive, I would think, for the Q350s. These are what I was looking for...keepers!

For the price, it's in amazing speaker. What I loved the most about them is the sound that is not fatiguing for a whole day listening while working from home a my desktop setup. Very soft and clear. I had to return them because I decided to level up for B&W 705 that are 6 times the cost of the KEF where I got more clarity. My prev. speakers were Def. Tech Studio Monitor 450. KEF sounded softer and not tiring. I would also add that the KEF is base heavy in comparison to reference speakers.

I might need better ears. These are my first really good speakers and maybe I also fixed some issues with the room layout while setting them up but it was a massive upgrade to both music and home theater. Running these on a Denon 650H, which I'm told isn't the best match for them, so if you have a better amp you might enjoy them even more than me! Purchased open box for just over $250 with a good sized dent in the side, but still sound amazing.

These are great sounding and looking speakers! I was surprised how detailed the imaging and how wide the soundstage was. You can't beat these speakers at this price. You would have to spend more than triple the money in order to hear a minimal (at best) improvement on the sound. I'm beyond impressed with these speakers!

Bought these to replace my almost 20 year old JBL towers. I was concerned I would be underwhelmed going from a 4 way floorstander to a bookshelf. There is no comparison. The kefs are clearer, more transparent, more delicate and for a small speaker the bass is impressive. A+ speaker highly recommended especially for their sale price.

After having these for a few months I can say these are one of the best Movie speakers on the market. They have a very flat response which is perfect. I only ding it 1 star since they arent perfect for music since some genres can sound muddy, but still very good. This can be fixed with EQ but most people i assume will just plug and play. This is not an issue for me, but always test speakers to see if the sound suits your use case.

Best sounding bookshelf speakers I've ever owned. Bass response is perfect for my needs but if I didn't have to be respectful for others in the house I would probably add a sub. I do think the aesthetics can't be beat. The wood actually matches the cabinet they are in.

Outstanding quality. I'm able to hear great details that I never noticed before even with Spotify tracks. Depending on your listening preference, I don't think a sub is required but pairing it with SVS SB-1000 Pro really make these KEF shine more.

I read lots of reviews of bookshelf speakers and was already leaning toward these KEF Q350s when they went on sale at Best Buy. That was enough to get me to take the plunge. The speakers look great, were well packaged, and arrived quickly. I have to say though that I was a bit underwhelmed by the quality of sound when I first hooked them up, but after several weeks of gentle playing they have opened up nicely and sound quite good. I play a variety of music, 60s rock, classical, and easy-listening vocals and am pleased with how they all come across on the KEFs. As others have noted, the KEF sound stage is remarkable - Johnny Mathis sounds like he's standing in my living room and Ronstadt's voice is as beautiful and powerful as you would expect. Likewise, Karajan's Beethoven symphonies are clear and expansive. And the Beatles, Righteous Brothers, and Supremes sound dandy. I believe a quality amp putting out say 100 watts per channel would allow you to get the most out of these KEFs, even if you play only at low volume levels. But if you have a smaller room and play at reasonable volume levels you can get by with half that. I have the KEFs on 24-inch Pangea stands by the way and that puts the tweeters at close to ear level when seated. Although bookshelf speakers, these KEFs are fairly large so place them on solid stands or a table top. The speakers look striking without the optional grill covers and you can certainly run them that way. I bought the covers too and like that more classic look.
