    I bought these for a 1994 GMC truck I'm getting ready to have my son driving in a year. All 4 original speakers in the truck have died, so it was time. I currently just have these in the dash with no sound from the rear. I bought a pair for the rear also, but I'm just not looking forward to the work involved with that right now. I have these running off of a new Alpine head unit and they do the job. He doesn't need anything fancy. As long as he can hear his music at 75mph with the windows down, it's all good.

    Bought these to replace the original Delco dash speakers in my 1994 GMC Silverado - The Beast. Easy to install, just snipped the wires, popped on a couple of splices, and put the speaker grills back on - fits perfect. The sound is decent, you're never going to get a lot of bass from a 4X6 speaker. I also have a stock equalizer, so I can play around a little more than most,but still. Paired with the back speakers that still original and 18 years old, but they still sound good. All in all good value, easy to replace in this particular vehicle ( I might spring for the rear ones - same size and shape) and the sound is good, with decent dynamic range.

    Great sound. Plenty of power for the average listener/user. These can be installed fairly easily if you're handy with a manual or small cordless screw driver, a pair or wire strippers, and wire nuts. If you take your time,(patience) it will look like a professional installation. Otherwise, Best Buy can install. Perfect replacement for my car's original speakers.
