Absolutely loving this headunit! Very easy to use and packed with enough features. Comes in at a super budget friendly price and even got the free installation which was done so clean and perfect! For anyone reading these reviews and seeing the reviews about the freezing or glitches, I spoke to the tech at Best Buy and he said it was a result of just simply needing an update. All of the new ones come with the update and I haven’t had any problems yet in the 2 months that I’ve had it. Thank you again Best Buy for another great addition to my car!

This head unit exceeds all expectations! It is responsive, super user friendly, and the customization options are very nice. It’s easy to adjust any sound option. The wired CarPlay pairing is also very fast and responsive. The technicians installing the unit were also very professional and easy to work with

It was a very easy install on my 02 silverado. It made my speakers sound way better and for the price you cant beat it. Androind car play worked perfectly. Its easy to bypass the parking brake so you can watch videos. One more thing it looks amazing in my old truck. If your looking for a base double din stereo, get this one. Kenwood and jvc are the same company if that helps anybody.

We bought this car radio because we have an old car (2006 Subaru Imprezza) that does not have bluetooth. We used a FM transmitter with mixed results. The sound was good from the phone, but the phone calls were awful-sounding to the person on the other end. We bought this unit at Best buy. It did come with a free installation, but the appointment was over a month and a half from the date of purchase. We ended up going somewhere else for the install and paying for it. We were told that we needed a framing bracket in order for the radio to be installed. We wished that Best Buy would have told us about this need so we could have bought the bracket. The radio itself works very well though. We plugged in our iPhone and Apple Carplay works very well. My wife thought it would be a little difficult to use, but she figured it out very quickly. The bluetooth works great and the sound that the other person hears on phone calls is very good. Apple Carplay and phone call sound were the two items we cared most about, so these worked very well. I did test the radio and it works as we expected, but we don't expect to use it much as we use apps on the phone to play music, Sirius XM, etc.

Great buy for the money. Sounds great and easy to navigate. Love having option for Android Auto Play in my car now - worth money! Side buttons for volume, etc. are a little small and awkward to use - especially since I don't have controls on my steering wheel. That's the only negative thing I've experienced so far.

Overall when this unit worked it was great! Support for Apple car play, android auto, Bluetooth, backup camera, and a sleek design. The design is very nice but I found myself missing physical buttons especially when driving down dark roads, not always the best when trying to hit a digital button. The Apple car play and android auto worked fine without a problem, even screen mirroring for android worked fine. The one problem I was seeing was with my unit sometimes not always shutting off but that could have been a wiring issue. Overall the unit is a good buy but make sure you get everything you need for it. Harness, steering wheel controls, and USB retention if you are trying to have everything work very smooth

Great unit for the price! Nice display. Kenwood's crossover feature makes the sound so much better with after market speakers and subs. Came with free install but scheduling was months away so I installed it myself. Easy install with the proper aftermarket wiring harness. Only cons is navigating through the menu takes some getting used to and Apple CarPlay is not wireless. If Best Buy offers free install with purchase, the install should be at purchase time.

I needed to be able to access my phone for music and gps in my old pickup truck. I also really wanted a backup camera. I really like the unit, except during the day its hard to see because of the light reflects off of it. That would happen to any unit though, and I miss having knobs and buttons I can use so I don’t need to look at the screen to adjust volume etc. Overall satisfied, brought some modernity to my old vehicle.

This car stereo which I bought open box is awesome! CarPlay works perfectly. I was even able to get a rear camera installed along. with the unit. I would recommend it to anyone. The only problem is the volume buttons on the unit are hard to find with your finger. Luckily I have steering console volume control. :)

Very happy. Install into 1997 4Runner was relatively painless. Worst part was the backup camera wiring. Had to route through the way the wires for the tailgate go through so more painful than expected. Sounds wonderful on the 25 year old OEM speakers! Android Auto works well via USB cable.

Lots of features for this price point. Installation was easy in a 2005 Honda Pilot, which had a factory receiver that was pre-everything (no bluetooth, no hands-free calling, etc.). The touch screen is responsive. Sound is great. Phone calls are clear. It even works with Google Voice through Android Auto, which as a whole works very well. I have not had any freezing or lag using my Galaxy S20FE. My only gripe is that the touch points on the side are very small. Thankfully the steering wheel controls work (using Maestro ADS-MSW). Also, the menus can seem kind of wonky at first, but you get used to them. It was a little bit of a hassle setting the equalizer exactly the way I wanted it with the touch controls, but I got it eventually. P.S. I cannot recommend Best Buy Total Tech Support enough. I installed the radio myself, but then realized it would take me a very long time to do the speakers and rear camera and I didn't feel like losing a day to do it. They installed 4 speakers, steering wheel controls, and a rear camera in around 3 hours. Cost? Zero. Yes the support plan is $200, but this installation would have run around $350, so it paid for itself immediately, plus now I have support for a whole year for everything else I own. Good deal. Might add a sub later.

Great unit for the price. Android Auto works great. Calls are clear. Great settings to customize the sound. Navigating the menu could be better and the screen isnt very bright during the day. Thats why i give it 4 stars. This unit replaced a brand new Pioneer DMH1770 that had horrible distortion and sound. Thankfully Best buy swapped out units for free

Purchased this for my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. It fits perfectly, looks great and sounds great. Although BestBuy offers free installation I decided I would do it myself because I had purchased a tailgate handle backup camera from another source. I must say it all went together just fine. Connected my steering wheel controls with a purchased adapter and it works just like factory. The mirroring is great, perfect for Waze, or any navigation app. I have also played a movie from my phone and watched the news on Pluto TV app. It also has Bluetooth. VERY Pleased with this purchase and install. It has a lot of really good features. Install wasn't bad for a 71 yr old.

This radio works exactly how I'd hoped and the install through Best Buy was terrific. I have an Android and the Android Auto and bluetooth work perfectly. After driving some vehicles with wireless Android Auto and experiencing how glitchy that can be, I'm so glad I went with a wired connection. The sound is great and it's super user friendly. I'm amazed at the quality of phone calls over bluetooth, on both ends of the call. I hooked up a backup camera I purchased from Amazon and the picture is crystal clear. I'm so glad I let my husband talk me into upgrading the radio in my F250. I'm beyond happy with this one!
