Pros: ISO connection for power, speakers. You can probably buy an adapter cable to connect to your car rather than having to make one up. I already had one for my Dodge. Camera input and preamp output connections are mounted to the case. No adapter cables are needed to connect for these. The parking brake lockout is optional. You have full functionality without using it. The chassis depth is shorter than most. Android Auto works as expected. Works fine with the Motorola wireless adapter. The supplied external microphone works fine, and the wire is long enough to easily reach to the visor. Cons: The reverse lamp lead is on a separate wire coming out of the back. In fact, in addition to the USB and satellite leads, there are three control wires coming out of the back. Why not put these on the three unused positions on the ISO plug? The UI for the radio is hard to use. The presets do not show the frequency or the call sign, but rather show random text from the last RDS messages received while tuned to that station. The legends for the touch control buttons on the left are not illuminated. You can't see them at night. The volume controls have arrows so you can tell what they are, but the others you have to remember.

Love this radio, and its not too pricey, easy install.

Overall happy but had an initial failure replaced by Best Buy. Adjusting volume could be made better using a display slider instead or trying to repeated tap a button while driving. Mute causes the first syllable of navigation guidance to be missed. Mute icon appears on top of written navigation turn instructions and cannot be moved. Have to wait for navigation speaking to adjust it's volume. Waiting to see if my feedback produces any improved firmware releases.

This is a very good-sounding unit. Easy to operate and was much better than the original equipment that came with the vehicle. Lots of bells and whistles. I would recommend this unit.

looks good, sounds good, and easy to use. mirroring will need to download kenwood app to work. Other than that, works great!

Had this installed on my Chevy Traverse and LOVE IT! If you are into changing the equalizer and sound.. this is perfect! Nice screen touch. Couldn't be happier! I had best buy geek squad install for me and was done quickly and works great! I personally love the android car play and ease of using my maps on my stereo.. Worth buying!

Picked up over 2 months ago and it’s been going good I love it, I needed apple car play and that is a plus and it made the sound to my system sound a little better for sure, I recommend for the price

My boyfriend got this for the Apple car play and we both love it! It was super easy to install and we love that we can pull up the GPS on the screen and we don’t have to look at our phones anymore. Easy to use, only complaint is that the clock resets every time we turn on the car if we don’t plug in our phones.

I bought an old 2006 Toyota Corolla for a backup/commuter car and found living life without my Android auto system nearly unbearable while finding most phone mounting solutions janky. I found this upgrade relatively cheap and it seemed like a no-brainer. It works extremely well. I feared it may be slow and clunky but the interface is very smooth and is a pleasure to use

Big upgrade. Easy install. Easy to use. A lot of nice features with backup camera/car play/screen mirror and bluetooth.

Bought this for my daughter’s car. Apple play allows her to use navigation and answer the phone hands free which keeps her hands on the wheel. Great features at a reasonable price.

Great unit but the speakerphone is unusable. Constant back-talk on it, no way to mitigate. But the unit performs very well besides that. Great sound, awesome display.

Great unit. Love the display. The apple car play works great I just wished it had a usb up front as well. This made me have to run it from the back

We purchased this radio to replace our daughter's factory-installed radio in her "new to us" Subaru Forester. The features of the radio are excellent and allow her hands free options, and apple play like the newer vehicles. If you get this radio, be sure to have the tech team connect the existing steering wheel controls, ie volume, skip, play, etc. so that you dont loose any functionality. That was a must have for our kiddo, so she can be as safe as possible. Great radio, a little more expensive than some of the other options but worth the extra.

Simple installation, easy to navigate the menu options. Decent power and apple carplay. Would be better if there was a knob for the volume.

It's working great for me, although the screen does have a lot of glare (although I think most of the options do at this price point). Also, I knew when I bought it that I might be frustrated by the lack of physical volume controls, and yeah, I was right, I am finding that annoying. I wish I'd waited to get the Sony which has a physical volume knob and is about the same price. Unfortunately it wasn't available in my location and I didn't want to wait.

Overall good product for the price. Not the prettiest, and it can be a little clunky. Simple operation.

Wish the CarPlay was Bluetooth. I don’t know if it’s because I have a iPhone or what but it says it’s an android radio or something but I wish it was Bluetooth not on a cord. Other then that it works great.

This is my second one. First one the screen went bad after 13 months so make sure you buy the extended warranty. Has all the features and connectivity you would want. solid unit.

It is a good radio I have had it for almost a year now and it works perfectly fine. I don't know how any other appleplay works but you have to have it connected to a USB port that they put in the glove box to connect to it. The only reason I give it four and not five stars is that background presets are really plain and I have no idea how to add them myself and don't feel like putting in the time for that either. But if that isn't an issue for you it works well and sounds great.
