Istalled by Best Buy audio folks. They did a great job for us and walked us thru usage. Easy to use, the volume controls are a bit too small for use while driving. Had this installed in a 2002 truck so we are glad for the blue tooth and the good!

All in all the Kenwood sounds really good, has great features and looks great. The only issue so far is that the screen is very hard to see in sunlight with the setting all the way up. In the dark it looks great and easy to read. I wonder if Kenwood will send up an update that will increase the lighting? Best Buy, Pablo did a great job installing this and other associated items in two hours. He took the time to explain the system. I will ask for him again.

This looks so good in my sons 2009 Impala. The screen is bright and controls easy to use. We bought a back up camera that is clearer than the factory one on our Suburban. Read some other reviews and I agree the music sounds better than the factory stereo. Got great service and a great tech at the Forsyth store. Overall ,we are very satisfied.

Love this radio

I finally broke down and purchased a new radio for my truck. I had another Kenwood radio that had the worst Bluetooth connectivity ever. It would take 45 seconds or better to connect to the phone, it would drop the phone during calls, etc. Finally fed up with it, I bought the Kenwood DNX575S. The radio works greats, navigation is awesome, I love ALMOST everything about this radio. First complaint (albeit a minor one) is the nag screen every time you start the vehicle. This comes on telling you how messing with the radio while driving is dangerous. And yes, it has a little box on the screen to remove the nag screen after 10 seconds.....but that should be automatic, you shouldn't otherwise have to press the AGREE button to get rid of it. My second beef, again fairly minor, is the size of the fonts. Now I'm 66 and don't have the best eyesight, but these fonts are way too large. For example, on the satellite screen the font is that large that Classic Rewind is displayed as CLASSIC RE. My old Kenwood would display long song titles statically for a few seconds, then would scroll the title so you could see the whole thing, The 575 doesn't do that. And maybe I'm missing some setup menu that would allow me to shrink the size of the fonts and turn on scrolling. Again, very minor complaints, and otherwise I would buy this radio again!

Good receiver if you use the navigation you have to to run Kenwood software threw your phone. Don't forget you have to buy harness and antenna for GPS.also receiver for serius radio. You loose control over steering control's. Have to buy separate receiver too keep them. Install was done on time.

The Kenwood radio has all the features I was looking for - Sirius, navigation and a back up camera - with steering wheel control harness. It was installed quickly and professionally by Best Buy in Summerville, SC. And it is working flawlessly.

BEEEEEEEP
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The head unit is very nice and offers a lot but there is one flaw that CANNOT be turned off, muted or fixed and it interrupts everything with a loud BEEEEEEEP! This unit has Traffic Congestion warnings that start when you are about 1 mile from where the 'navigation' thinks is a slow traffic situation ahead the unit BEEPS and then it continues to BEEEP at least if not more than every tenth of a mile until you pass that point. In many cases there really is no traffic at all and you still had to deal with the interruption. It can also be heard but the other person on the call if you are on a hands free phone call. Yes it interrupts phone calls also. If you live in an area like I do that means by the time you have passed one congestion point you are already getting the BEEEEPS for the next congestion point. Instead of having some great music playing to help occupy your time waiting in traffic you spend your time listening to BEEEEEPS. As stated but I really need to reiterate this point, it interrupts all sources, you cannot turn it, it happens even when you are not using navigation and it will not stop. I contacted Kenwood over 12 times and the final answer they gave me was exactly this, "He (Kenneth) has researched the issue and confirmed it is normal operation. Unfortunately the notification cannot be turned off."
Please take this under considerations when you think about buying this unit or any Kenwood navigation system. If you like listening to BEEEEEEEPS about every 3 seconds than buy this you and you will be very happy.

Navigation is awesome, Bluetooth pairing of two devices at the same time, meaning you can receive calls for either phone, able to manage dash cam from the receiver, view dashcam or backup cam while driving. Excellent buy

The radio and navigation system work great. I had some trouble getting my phone to connect via Bluetooth, but once connected it is a great feature too. This radio does more than I probably will ever need or even figure out.

Great System, Minor Issues

This is a very nice sound system, with plenty (and easy to understand) of ways to customize speaker setup, tuners, and other functions. BT connectivity has worked very smoothly so far, though recognition by built-in apps, like Spotify, is slightly slower than I expected. Though this is not the case with straight BT streaming and phone functions, which are fairly quick. Navigation has worked very well as well. Some issues with Android Auto, but I think this is a bug on the Google App, phone side. At times it causes the phone app to loop-restart. I ended up uninstalling and will wait for some updates. Weblink, though, is pointless at this point. The app fails to pair most of the time, when it does, the apps don't always initiate. I consider this a minor issue as these apps are YouTube, Yelp, Waze, and a couple other, which I can do without.

I got this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it and was super surprised! He had to go back to Best Buy to buy all the wiring needed to hook up his speakers and amp. While there, he also purchased the backup camera too. He has a Jeep Wrangler and it fit perfectly. He had no problems with the install and is really happy with all of it.

First radio/nav unit. Easy to use. Other people complain about not being able to see the screen with sunglasses on. I had no problem.
