I love this car stereo, but there is a couple downsides to it. To have all the options work with my 2007 Ram it cost another $200 for the wire kit that don't come with it. The other issue I have had in the year and half I've been using it the Pandora and Spotify apps on it often won't connect to my Galaxy S9+ or Note 20 Ultra, but still able to listen to them through the basic Bluetooth connection just don't have all the same controls you have on Pandora or Spotify. Not real difficult to set up but does take a little more time and extra wire (mainly for the back up camera connection. Do recommend, but this is not a smart device. It does not connect to Google Play for apps your limited to pre-installed. Does not come with Remote but believe the I a remote you can purchase separately.

It works beautifully. Sound is great and everyone can hear me when I’m on a call. No glitches. Plus, it has CD player and Apple play.

It is a bit much for a guy that is not a IT wizard, but I am getting it figured out. The Cd player is a must for me and how I roll however I like being able to tap my Pandora and Spotify easy. I still need to get a back up camera installed so can't comment on that yet. It is getting easier to navigate the more I use it and I am sure will be second nature soon. I would say my biggest complaint is the volume controls. I would rather press and hold as it moves instead of having to keep tapping the button.

Very user friendly. Side controls are a touch small, but other than that very pleased. Super clear backup camera. Apple car play works excellent!

Purchased this Kenwood after a Pioneer avh-2550nex which was not capable of driving the rear audio video 7" screen in our 2013 town & country minivan. This Kenwood allows us to play music while the kids watch dvd's on rear ENT with wireless headphones. We love the Android Auto integration. Spotify,Waze,Pandora, Google maps, iheart Radio. Love the maestro steering wheel control integration which was a little pricey but worth it. Our uconnect button functions as the ok Google or siri button. Enjoy clicking button and saying Google play xyz etc. on spotify. We got the add on siriusxm tuner as well. Great in store promotional deal @$369.99 with free professional installation. The bestbuy tech installed it flawlessly and is 110% better than oem uconnect touch-screen system. The microphone was placed just to the left of rear view mirror. I would highly recommend this for vehicles with rear seat systems. Can't comment on Apple carplay since we don't have apple but should work pretty good. Has that look like it was factory installed. There are so many audio controls you can tweak everything including 13 band eq.

This stereo is equipped with top of the line features. DVD, Navigation, Apple airplay and Android play. Touch screen stereo.

I installed this Kenwood 6.8” in my infiniti G35 and it has not let me down ever since. The sound quality is amazing and the functions are endless. I alway hook up my iphone to Apple Carplay and im able to play spotify and control it from the spotify app on the receiver itself. The Best Buy employee was very knowledgeable about the product and even helped me choose some Jbl speakers to go along with the receiver! Best purchase ever!

Got this as an upgrade for my Subaru BRZ. Pros: Sound quality and power are good Unit makes good use of space to maximize screen size Looks good Cons: Controls are difficult to use while driving. Tiny volume buttons. No buttons for track forward and back - you have to use the no so good screen. The screen is plastic and only so-so. I should have paid more for a better screen.

This stereo is probably the best investment I’ve made since I bought my car. I’m able to use the Apple play with it and I love the convenience of that. The sound is so much better than with the original car stereo! I’ve had the stereo for a year and a half now and it’s working perfectly!!

By far the best head unit ive ever owned. Android auto is amazing. The eq, crossovers, and sound processors are top notch. Can't go wrong with this one!

Really not a bad radio. I used this on to replace my old original radio that died. I like the Blue Tooth feature and unlike a lot of radios out there, this one you can completely customize the sound. Has a ton of features to let you control the way the music is played. Only negative I can say is how to eject a CD. It is actually a little confusing at first, not a straight up thing like pressing one button.

Great stereo and super happy on the install from Best Buy. CD player DVD player touch screen navigation. All the stuff we take fir granted on newer vehicles. You can add to this stereo also cameras , amps, more screens, subs . I think you would be happy with this touch screen easy to read and use stereo!!

We got 2 of these. Both vehicles had there CD players fail. This upgrade, gave us all the features we need to play CDs again, and now have Android auto, listen to audio book from our phones, and hands free calling. Works great and easy to learn navigation.

Amazing sound, looks great, and lots of technology to play with. I just realized I had bought all my car car stereos since my high school years at the same company and at the same store “Canoga Park” I was a little upset for the installation service but I’m glad you corrected your mistakes. I’m still with you guys!!

It had everything I needed. Has great sound. It’s simple to operate. I’d recommend this stereo. Can’t beat it for the price. The workers were friendly and very helpful. I looked at 6 different car stereos and they were very patient in going thru all of them

This is my 2nd KENWOOD. My first one wasn’t as fancy where this one is a touch screen and can hook up to iPhone and can even show navigation on the screen that comes from my phone. Love it. Super addition to my 2008 rav 4

Great radio with plenty of features. Screen is easy to see. My only complaint is the volume controls are not easy to get to. In my Toyota Tundra it sets back in the dash and you have to look around the bezel to see it. Wish it had a knob instead.

I like most everything about the unit. However, the first CD I played refused to eject and the manual wasn't any help. I finally found a trick on the web that worked. It also took some research to figure out how to eject a CD as the button isn't apparent until you hit the button with 3 lines. Once I started customizing the screen and sound, I was pleased with the unit. Using Apple CarPlay, the microphone and speaker are great. One of my friends said talking to me on the phone was like I was sitting at home and talking. I do have one complaint about Apple CarPlay when using Waze. Sometimes, the verbal directions are sharp and clear and other times, they are soft and muffled. This is with the unit pausing the music I'm playing to say the directions. I wish that some of the menu items were on the screen instead of having to work my way through sub-menus.

Used this unit to replace the stock head unit in my '08 Tundra and it's been wonderful to finally have Bluetooth in my truck! This feature alone has made this radio worthwhile in addition to the good music quality and the ability to finally play music from a USB drive. What's not been so wonderful is that I'm still having intermittent issues using Android Auto on my Samsung S7 when paired with this head unit. I still haven't ruled out it being a cable issue, though, as I'm not plugging directly into the head unit, but into a port mounted on the dash. Another nitpick is that the on-screen radio preset buttons appear on the right-hand side of the screen which is a bit of a stretch in a wide full-size truck.

Awesome radio... the sound is incredible with our OEM Bose speakers. Android Auto was a little challenge to install (mainly the Samsung phone's fault), however it is now working and is fantastic. Kenwood quality is unbeatable.
