Installed into my F-150 perfectly. Sounds awesome and video is pretty good. Tons of features. Still learning them all. Just added the KENWOOD front and back cameras and plan to add an under the seat powered subwoofer to complete my truck sound system

After two weeks of owning product here’s my review. Positives: Good overall quality with all features available. Good audio quality Available with both Apple CarPlay and Android Compatible. Bluetooth works well. CD works well. Yet to try DVD. Things can be improved or better: Not easy to find the functionalities on the unit or through instruction manual. Need to browse on internet on how to eject the cds. By default it plays audio when the car starts. Not able to pause. If I power down camera video won’t work on reversing vehicle. There are work around available. FM presets is limited to 4 stations. After few weeks of ownership I love this unit and I will recommend as those negatives can be easily adjusted. Also one more thing the Best Buy audio installation team at San Marcos were awesome.

The unit works well, the touchscreen responds reliably (unknown if that assessment will remain come winter... will have to wait and see!), the menus seem straightforward enough, it seems powerful with good audio controls/equalizer, the physical buttons work well, the bluetooth connectivity has been good and reliable and has worked as expected, the steering wheel controls (required add'l Metra Access ASWC-1 adapter purchase plus $59 adapter install labor charge) has been working as expected, and I am generally happy with the purchase. I have NOT yet, however, tested the Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, so, if I am able to update this review after that stuff is tested, I may do so. FWIW, there *IS* the capability of manually updating the unit's software/firmware via downloading the new/latest version from Kenwood's site and then putting it on a USB stick, so that's good. Anyway, the one feature that I wanted, and even discussed with the sales/install guy about (the same guy did both), was some sort of anti-theft security, which I was told was included in the form of a security code that an owner could set that, upon the unit being disconnected-reconnected to power, would need to be entered for the unit to be functional. Well, this unit and model does not have that feature, and that fact has been confirmed by Kenwood customer support to me personally.

I am really enjoying my new unit. I like that it is packed with features like backup camera, radar detector, and tire pressure readout. However, these may need special wiring or adapters to function. Overall great purchase. Android Auto is a charm.

The installation was flawless. The technician was very knowledgeable and explained all the features of the radio. I had bought this radio based on the sales persons recommendation based on the Android Auto feature and the Sirius XM capability. However, during the install I was informed that to have the XM capability I would have to buy a new tuner as the one I had was not compatible. My second issue was that I had to return several days later as the Android Auto feature did not work. Fortunately the tech that installed it was there that day and he worked on it for over an hour and finally found a solution to make it work. I wish I had this Techs name as he is a great example of integrity and professionalism.

Great product. Works well with backup camera Spotify comes with it We use phone both Bluetooth and CarPlay and work well Cool thing is converts speech to text and sends text messages

Great stereo! Looks good, sounds great. Still haven't found all the features but learning. Love the bluetooth phone. Also the CD/DVD player. Linked up with steering wheel controls great. Great XM satellite features. Excellent price!

The radio works great and the apple carplay option is fantastic! The microphone picks up my voice easily on phone calls and it is simple and fast to use! I have a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and it works great!

Was pretty happy that this was able to hook up to my steering wheel and also my side view mirror camera, boosted my sound also and has great Apple CarPlay connectivity, would recommend!

Installed in my wife’s Audi TT. It’s a good head unit. Good sound quality but the user interface could be better

Stereo sounds very good and the apple car play works great. My only complaint is that there is not a knob for the volume or a mute button

I got this unit for a friend's Jeep since his factory radio went out on him. Installed with Polk Audio db separates up front, Polk Audio db coaxials in the rear sound bar, and a Pioneer 5-channel 900 watt amplifier. We also installed an adapter to let him use the factory controls on the steering wheel. This unit is so much better than the factory radio. It pulls in radio stations with ease, has great features to optimize the sound, and also has great features for future expansion. It integrates easily with his phone (Samsung A50) which allows him hands-free use of his phone.

Good sound system. Relieved to have a back-up and front cameras again. Grandson likes being able to watch movies. Wish I had thought to ask about a unit with satellite capabilities.

Improved sound and looks sharp. Like the Android Auto functionality. Cannot access all the features due to not having the proper maestro (found out after install). Happy with purchase overall.

I got this item as a GSP replacement because my 2016 model Kenwood 9706s was caught up a reboot cycle and would power offer for no reason. This model is much better. I do not have any reboot issues and it is easier to navigage One drawback and you may not consider it a big deal. I got used to it. This model is stationary you do not have the ability to adjust the viewing angles like you could on previous models. I liked that ability. I ended up adjusting some of the back lighting and was able to get it where I could see everything adequately

easy to operate and so many options to add. bluetooth works great as my phone syncs very quickly. also the instillation was quick. highly recommend

Had it installed in my 2017 Toyota Tacoma to replace stock stereo. I use the Apple CarPlay a lot. Packed with features, has great sound. Well worth the investment.

Easy to use love the DVD player and enjoy using the other options that the player provides. Also hands free bluetooth works great.

I really like this double din! It made a huge difference from the stock stereo. It has very many features and you can customize your sound to your like.

This is a great stereo. Didn't take long for my husband to learn. The carplay is awesome, the sound quality is awesome too. Highly recommend
