Customers love the 6.8" Navigation Receiver's sound quality and the ease of using its GPS and navigation features. Many appreciate the inclusion of a backup camera and convenient options like USB connectivity. However, some users find the size of the controls to be less than ideal. The lack of a volume knob is also a point of concern for a few customers.

Great product and price, I’m very happy with the features on my new stereo, the sound is fantastic, I can do a lot more things with this stereo than I could with the factory unit, it was a great choice, the backup camera is amazing, great picture.

The radio that came in my 2018 Ford F-150 did not have a GPS or was capable of playing Sirius XM. After realizing that in 2017 when I purchased the pickup new, I began searching for a replacement. To my dismay, there was no known radiio that had that capability. So in 2018,2019 and 2020 I continued my search. Now KENWOOD has such a radio that is a perfect fit in my dash with all the bells and whistles in addition to the GPS and Sirius radio; better yet it came with 3 months of free SiriusXM.

I put this in a 2019 ram tradesman. Worked & fit perfectly!!! It did make me jump thru some hoops to make it fit, & to make it work, but not as bad as other radios I’ve read about! Very, very satisfied, does EVERYTHING! More than I thought itwould!

Great radio. Bought this for having GPS and XM radio. Not as simple as others I have to program. Wish it had a mute button on it, I must use volume control on steering column yto mute.

Too soon for the fat lady to sing, but so far, mostly good but not great.
I bought it for the nav, to be able to use my backup camera, and to have hands free phone.
I seem to have all the basics, but the nav is more limited than I would prefer -- given that it is based on Garmin, I would have liked an ability to do more customization. In particular, detail at various zoom levels, better ability to create routes with stops, etc. I'm tempted to say that plugging in the phone (yes, physically) may be better than the built-in nav. But I prefer having both options easily available.

Great sounding stereo with all the bells and whistles. Make sure to buy an Axxis (spelling?) Adapter if installing in a C5 Corvette with a Bose speaker system...makes it a snap.

I really do love this product. My only complaint is that it is not wireless for Apple CarPlay. I knew that going into it, however, it would be nice to not need to connect each time. GPS is great, response is really good to.

This is my third Kenwood with GPS I have installed the in all my vehicles. The best thing I like about it is the build in GPS that works off satellites and not cell towers, so I can be in the middle of nowhere and it still works. Second I like the hands free for the cell phone. I definitely will install in future vehicles.

Nice headunit with Navigation which are becoming failry rare these days. It was bought to put in a company vehicle for the Navigation feature and bluetooth. The Bluetooth feature is underwhelming. It does not like to connect right away and it is kinda difficult for some people to learn how to use. Overall it works and gets the job done.

Just had it for a week and it is a very nice system. Like everything so far. Like the hands free use of the system; a must have in todays connected world. SiriusXM is working as expected.
I have one concern and that is the Garmin NAV system. A major reason we bought the Kenwood. We use the truck it's installed in for RV travel. Normally I put together the next days route on my computer. In the old Garmin NUVI, I could use Base Camp and then just upload to NUVI. I don't find anyway to upload my maps to the Kenwood. Seems two steps forward and three back. Will keep looking for a solution.
