This radio is amazing. And the apple car play works flawlessly. Every once and a blue month it was freeze up and need to be reset but only takes a few seconds to boot back up and blast music again.

Unit runs smooth without delay and andriod auto works great.

I love my Kenwood,The CarPlay works about 80% of the time.Regerdless,it always pairs.The mirroring was complicated at first.It is really a great system.oh yea,the e q is amazing,really..it took me a few days but well worth it.

Never have I had a stereo with such crisp sound. And the accuracy of voice to text for the cellphone interface is the best I’ve ever experienced. Definitely going to get a KENWOOD for my next stereo as well.

This is a nice radio for the sale price don't think I would be as happy full price. Software is kind of buggy. Every now and then the display turns off music keeps going but can't see the display. It does sound great and has lots of options

I have been an Alpine man for years. But the price was double to get all the features this Kenwood has. I am happy I choose the kenwood. The only problem I have is the Android mirror app does not always work. That is why I gave it 4 stars.

This headunit was purchased as a replacement for my defective Pioneer SPH-DA210. This unit is great. all the features you could ask for including TWO camera inputs, Android Auto AND Apple Carplay, Maestro RR compatibility, and many others. The only complaints I have are: 1. No recording ability for the front camera. I feel this would be a GREAT addition and would only require an SD Card slot on the machine (behind the faceplate) 2. Resistive Touchscreen. Why on earth have these manufacturers all said NO to capacitive touchscreens? They are much more accurate and better in every way. 3. Ability to disable start message from displaying every time the unit powers on. Overall a great product though. Highly recommend.

We purchased this product for our daughter's graduation from college. She drives a Jeep and needs her hands free to shift. Sound quality is awesome. We are so glad she has a way to access her phone hands free.

Though it does not connect direct to android as advertised It is a great stereo. Quickly connects to Bluetooth and Pandora. Should have bit the bullet and paid the extra $200 for the newer kenwood.

This radio provides great sound with all the bells and whistles needed for a great listening experience. The source of the music does not matter, am/fm, iPhone, Android, Bluetooth, or Sirius.

Only downside is it does not have on board navigation but when using android auto app it works just as well and you don't have to worry about uploading new information.

I had no idea how nice a replacement car stereo could be! This Kenwood is incredible, and believe it or not, actually sounds much better than the original car stereo in my Toyota. Love it!

Great Car Stereo with Android Auto, it's not that easy to install and keep your steering wheel controls, so do yourself a favor and go with the professional installation from Bestbuy.:)

The stereo produces quality sound. Little hard to navigate through all the screens but Im a newbee at this type of stereo. There is a pause during start up that can be frustrating but overall I am happy with it.

Fantastic stereo. I bought the stereo to go in my 2004 Toyota Tacoma. Works great with the back up camera that was installed as well couldn’t be more happier

Needed to replace the sound system in my prius. This was one of a couple of options. Glad I chose it. Nice sound, relatively easy to learn to use (I'm a senior, so learning curve a little steeper.)

How to give this a proper review? I bought it for Apple CarPlay, thinking it would work... differently. Based on other reviews, I knew going in that Waze wouldn't work, but I didn't realize that Apple Maps were (are?) still garbage. I really wish the screen was anti-glare, and had an auto dimming feature. Most of my complaints are with CarPlay and not Kenwood, the options for the radio itself are pretty good as far as tweaking the sound goes. I mean I dig it and all, but I have the sneaking suspicion that I'd be happier, or at least as happy, with the $280 Kenwood without CarPlay.

Nice stereo for the money, but mine was shipped without the harness I ended up going a different route just because they couldn’t get the harness. Still a great deck though for the price.
