Kenwood has always been one of my favorite head units anyway. The things this unit can do is just amazing. Anything from the hdmi input, to the bluetooth, all the way to it being able to use with a backup camera. It also has navigation on it, thats a nice thing to have.

I love the Kenwood Radio! The apple car play makes life so much easier. I can use siri to call or text people without having to pull over. It will also read texts for you if you want. It comes with a microphone so you can talk on the phone without ever touching your phone which was a MUST for me. I definitely recommend.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves it. After driving his truck with this system in it I want one! Basically turns your screen into an iPhone, a GPS..you can use your google maps to act as a GPS. You can ask Siri for the nearest gas station and she will GPS you there. I’m sure it does much more that he will figure out as he uses it but I’m impressed so far.

I like the stereo. It's very nice and simple. Love all the features that it comes with. I would recommend anyone to get this stereo. I am very impressed. Only down side is that if you want it for mirroring it won't work like you want it to work it very hard to work. I would recommend getting the hdmi connected and going that route if you want to use your phone screen to be viewed on your stereo

I bought this receiver for my 2016 jk unlimited. The car play on this is awesome!!!!!! You can use your maps, amazon music, Apple Music, voice text through Siri, and I have a backup camera on my jeep as well. The bestbuy store did an awesome job installing it too. I'm happy with my new receiver.

I love it! It is very easy to use! And has great sound

This receiver was a great value and and really clear on the display with good sound and lots of features to maintain your factory features as well. My only complaint is that i have to buy about $130 in wiring harnesses to maintain all the factory pieces such as controls on the steering wheel, back up camera DVD screen and such.

This receiver is great for the money. I like that it has Apple Car Play. You can plug your iPhone in and use it as in dash navigation. It also has an HDMI port in the back. If you have the adapter for your iPhone, you can plug it in and use it to watch Netflix, or other streaming services in your car.

As expected from Kenwood great sound lots of options, very solid, many options easy to setup and plenty of connections to expand your car audio system. Responsive screen, interaction with iPhone is very useful with car play, not many apps but fair enough to keep you eyes on the road.

This is a great car stereo receiver. Took a little time getting to know how everything worked. Everything synced right to my phone. Great picture on DVD player with good sized screen. Great buy at an affordable price

This head unit is fantastic if you're looking for Android Auto or Apple Car Play functionality. Even though Waze is STILL not out of beta for AA (which is very annoying), you can sign up for the beta program and use it. Waze+ the large screen is awesome and leaps and bounds above the garbage nav that came from the factory on my vehicle. Only regret with this model is that it's the restive screen as opposed to capacitive. The pricing difference made it a no brainer though.

First, store staff was superb. From the sales person, down to Mr. Installation! I could not have asked for better. As far as the Kenwood unit. It works as designed. No complaints. Go see the product reviews on You Tube. Having said that. The USB Port that your iPhone plugs into to communicate with the Apple Car Play ALSO charges the iPhone. That is not stated anywhere I know of. If you don't plan on using the HDMI feature (Connect your iPhone via an Apple Adapter into an HDMI Cable) than don't bother with the expense of buying the adapter and cable. It allows you to "Mirror" your iPhone's display to the dash display. You use the phone as normal, with the iPhone displayed on the screen. Nice, but USB Connected Apple Car Play pretty well gives you all the functionality you need while driving, in my view. In California, you have to mount (by law) your Smart Phone (As I understand the law) in the lower left area of the wind shield. Or, expressed differently, the lower left side of the dash. Point being they don't want the smart phone to obstruct your driving vision.. In my case, this works great with a suction cup (Windshield) arm type mount. My iPhone is right at dash front, with my USB cable routed through a small whole in the dash. It plugs into the bottom of the phone and I'm off and driving. Every review complains about the initial warning message that come on screen every time power is applied to the radio. Sorry you're stuck with it. Press the OK button, on screen and you're off and using the unit as intended. Routing your trip is as easy as pressing the small white dot in the lower left side of the Kenwood display, and asking Siri to "Route me to MY DESTINATION" WIthin a few moments your trip is on screen and she is talking you through the steps necessary to reach your destination. Siri will also play what ever song you ask her to, text message some one etc. The Kenwood head unit is playing music thru my factory speakers. Sounds good, slightly better than the factory radio that was installed. This is a good value in my opinion. Take a moment look at your dash and figure out where you want the USB wiring to emerge from your dash before you actually go in for the installation. That'll help the installer too. Good for it!

It is a nice stereo, there are a few things I don’t like but it’s my opinion like it changed the sound of my door chimes and blinkers very loud. Apple CarPlay works good but sometimes doesn’t always come up right away.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made for my car. You don't need to pay $4,000 for DVD/NAV in a new car. I was quoted $2.000 for this unit at another business. It cost me a little more than $800 plus a little for labor. It has Apple Car Play, DVD, a whole bunch of stations for stereo, rear camera that I had and now I can see it on the much larger almost 7" screen. With an HDMI cable i can see my entire iPhone or iPad pro on my screen in the car. If you are a techno geek, you will want this. No more GPS units or phones on the dash or vents. I can respond to my girl friends texts with my voice and my eyes on the road. It works with great with SIRI.
