The bestbuy techs all said the Kenwood is better than the JVC. It has HD Radio the JVC don’t have HD Radio which gives you song artwork, name and artist info plus emergency alerts

Love my new car system. Got a fabulous deal on open box. Also purchase XM antenna and rear view camera. It all works perfectly together plus I have hands free talking on my cell.

After waiting and waiting and reading review after review, I gotta say this was one of my best purchase I’ve made. I just love the sound and how user friendly this unit is.

This stereo is awesome couldn't decide whether to go with this one or the pioneer bit the bullet and went with this and it does not disappoint. Interface is super easy to use and get through from source to source and the settings are easy to go through. I installed it myself and it was super easy as well, but I have installed many stereos before. All in all this thing rocks can't wait to get the amps and speakers all hooked up too it!

Works great with iPhone. Once plugged in to radio you can do everything without touching the phone. Voice commands for phone ,getting directions. Sound is great.

She had factory stereo and was complaining about it. Updated to this and new speakers. She loves the head unit. She said Apple car play is the best.

this radio works well. I just didn't realize that to mirror your phone your phone has to have MHL.....mine doesn't. aside from that - everything it says it does? it does.

The receiver looks good in the dash. The installer did. Great job. The blue tooth works really well.

Everything works as anticipated. Installer went above and beyond to get my factory backup camera and rear DVD functioning with the new unit.

Upgraded my car stereo with this new unit and was worth it. This new stereo has so many awesome features on it and sounds great in the car.

Great Head Unit. Android Auto is fantastic. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection is a little fussy, may be my phone ? But with a couple of tries it always works. Only phone and music available via Bluetooth, the real functions start when you plug in. Talk Texting, "Hey Google" Navigation, Talk Texting and more, clear high resolution screen, easy menus.

Made 3 visits to VV store, Made the purchase because Edward was so helpful and attentive to my wife & I, just could't refuse to make the purchase. Believe me I would hire that fellow in as hot minute in my Company if I wasn't retired, he was well informed about the product, answered all questions with out hesitation, covering 3 products, spent more than I anticipated because of his explanation about the products. He is a good salesman yet soft in his approach to making you feel like this is the fellow I should buy from....CGN

The pioneer radio is great with the apple car play and I also added a back up camera and Satellite radio antenna. Very easy to use and the system is as nice as the factory sound system in my wife's new car. Had geek squad install it and they did a great job. Was originally going to go with the Kenwood but that was out of stock and the Pioneer has been great.

I upgraded my original stereo, because it didn't have an auxiliary port or Bluetooth, the best option i could have done. The screen is easy to see and navigate, has many options, android auto, spotify mirror beaming for youtube. Hands free talk, i would recomend it. It makes your life happier and easier, also safer and thats a plus.

Yes, the software and connections have come a long way since my 1st touch screen stereo that was probably 10 years old. Bluetooth connection is good. The Android Auto works good but you will have a problem trying direct use of your phone since the app essentially blocks functionality on the phone. Additionally, the S7 Active does not work with the HDMI input. My old Classic iPod also has no functionality on the stereo. I do really like that the Google maps, music, Pandora which can all be controlled from the screen. Since I do not have steering wheel controls, achieving hands free is difficult. I have learned to use the shelf on the bottom of the stereo and my dashboard to adjust volume controls and other functions to reduce the amount of time my eyes leave the road. Basically, I steady my hand in the correct position and do not have to watch the stereo as much to see what I am doing. Overall, I am happy. I have been waiting a while for a stereo that would have good functionality with Android.
