I'm not a car audio person, I just wanted a new radio to switch out my outdated stock radio in my Jeep and booooy am I pleased. It's a great system not to mention the perks of having CarPlay! The only thing I would have to complain about is my time zone never sets. Every time I turn vehicle on/off the Clock goes to a different time zone. Wish I knew how to fix this.

This a great radio and receiver. I have had no problems with operating it overall. My biggest complaint is that there is no mute button that I can find anywhere. Seriously, what company doesn't put a mute button on a car stereo theses days? I had a mute button on my analog radio 30+ years ago long before cell phones. The only other minor problem is that the lettering on buttons is tiny and very difficult to read by us older people even with reading glasses. It is so small that I bet even younger people have difficulty.

Bought this radio to replace my stock stereo in my Jeep; Black Friday weekend, $300 off with install included. Install went great. This is my first kenwood product/radio and it sounds amazing and has a lot of features. I’m usually a Pioneer guy, but couldn’t pass up a deal. Reviews we’re good too. Also, an iPhone user and Apple CarPlay is nice.

Good stereo that does what it says, but nothing more. It would be nice if you could add apps to the screen when in apple play mode.

This Kenwood has a pretty good touch screen and the sound is amazing. I have a 2006 Camry and I feel like I have a new car with this stereo installed. I'm using Apple CarPlay and I love it. Sometimes CarPlay does not register with the stereo and I have to reboot the system. It is annoying but it's only once in a while and I can live with it.

Easy to install, easy to use, fits perfectly in my truck. Love the touchscreen and the ease of setting up the bluetooth.

We got this radio and totally scored because it was on sale, had geek squad install it and bought the warranty. The whole family loves it! We love the car play feature and all the options it has, definitely recommend if you’re thinking about it. The screen is a perfect size too!

Deck has worked great, android auto works perfectly, better than on a new factory vehicle I have.

Had Best Buy install this with a back up camera in my new Jeep Wrangler. So far it works great!

This was my first touch screen CD deck ever, an man is it awesome! downloaded spotify an with the android auto app I can just tell the radio what I want to play, what an awesome deck, haven't played the regular radio or any cds in over a month, extremely pleased with my purchase

Love my radio, does a ton of things...Xm radio, Apple android car play, Bluetooth, hd radio, hd hook up option to stream from phone/device, and back up cam hook ups! You will love this radio ! You will need to purchase cameras, hd cord, and xm radio car kit to use all functions.

Great receiver for the price. It has so many options especially for the sync in my truck.

I initially bought the Pioneer 4200 NEX for my truck. It worked but the sound quality was inferior to my factory radio. The reason for the installation was to install a backup camera in my truck. I swapped the pioneer for the Kenwood. BEST decision I ever made! If you are trying to decide between the two; get the Kenwood. Much better radio.
