I tried some more expensive speakers that are only available by authorized local dealers, and they did not have any punch, even with an amp. I hooked these up to the same system and wow what a difference. For reference, the watts and ohms were exactly the same across the board.

I have a set of 3 ways and 4way as well. This 5 way will be the best speaker purchase on could ever want. Theres no other 5way out there

May put an amp on them in the future but for right now they sound just fine. They are crisp and clear and have a much better bass response than factory speakers. Bought them as open box so saved a bit also.

I also purchased kenwood head unit and these speakers rock with no amp or sub hooked up. If you're purchasing for a Ram, you will need to purchase a pair of 1/4" spacers for the front doors off Amazon or somewhere else because the magnet is too big. The back doors fit fine.

I replaced the sony pair I had as one had already blown. These have been great and would definitely recommend as a stock replacement for any vehicle
