    Built in distractions. Too many commands to get anything done, and the reception is terrible. I can't get public radio where I live. If I hadn't paid so much for installation, I would have returned it. Rarely use it. All the bells and whistles are useless.

    Nice receiver with many functions and a great sound for the price. My only complaint so far and that I take responsibility for is the buttons are so small I can't see what I'm touching. I bought this on line only going by pictures to make my decision. My recommendation to anyone considering a new receiver is to check them out in person to make sure you're comfortable with it.

    I had some issues with this purchase and was told to another best buy that was 40 miles from my current location , not really a good stero if you need glasses buttons are small hard to see during days

    This head unit has nice features, and is very customizable. The problem i have is it over heats. Half way through a song and the audio distorts. I am only running 2 4x6 and 2 5inch speakers which are rockfords. Even done it with the factory speakers. When i had the rockfords installed i had all new speaker wire installed as well by a certified audio installer. After he installed the new speakers and ran new power wires and ground to the head unit he discovered the back of the head unit was getting extremely hot at a volume level of 15. He let the unit cool to room temperature of 74 degrees he disconnected the back speakers which are 4x6s and just had the 2 5 inch going. Within 2 minutes at volume levels of 15 and less the unit was still overheating. Took unit to bestbuy and exchanged it for another unit with the same issue.. i called kenwood they informed me that the model KDC-BT-382U is known for overheating and i would be better off buying a higher end unit that has safe guards to help prevent overheating. I guess the updated model of this head unit has internal cooling fans. I guess that's what i get for buying a $150 dollar head unit

    Dealing with person on the phone was a real nightmare !! Then they blocked my ATM card for absolutely no reason and didn't notify me ?? I had to go to the bank and straighten it out !!

    Said choose installation date at check out.They shipped it and I tried to get it installed. I was informed they came out install it in my 1983 Monte Carlo. They should have told me that when I purchased the item
