Good replacement radio

I had to cut the top and bottom of the frame on which the original radio sat. One installed it worked perfectly.

Nice Having Amazon Music

Non existent AM reception

It sounds decent and is great for disc or USB, the radio antennas are weak. The FM reception is mediocre at best and the AM reception is non-existent. I took it back to the installer at Best Buy and he said it was hooked up correctly, and that he called the help desk and they said some aftermarket radios just do not get good reception. I can live without AM, but it is important after hurricanes.

Love that it has a cd player for those Gen Xers holding on to CDs. Doesn’t quit fit a 2004 Toyota Matrix. Clearance in the mounting cabinet varies from car to car. Also must purchase the correct mounting hardware.

The Bluetooth works well and I can even take phone calls hands free. I would recommend this stereo if you are looking to upgrade from a stock radio.
