I had a single din CD stereo in my truck and I thought it was not working correctly. On cold days, no sound would play through my factory speakers. The main reasons for choosing this receiver is because I saw it still played CDs as well as DVDS. Furthermore, it had Garmin's navigation. The technician at Bestbuy explained all the other features it had and I was hooked. SiriusXM, bluetooth, rear camera and dashcam inputs. I was just thrilled to know that replacing the receiver would completely update the technology in my truck. After the technician installed the stereo, however, on cold days I had no sound coming out of the speakers. He suggested I replace the factory Bose amp in my truck, which I did myself, and the problem was solved. I guess I didn't need to buy a new stereo receiver, but I'm sure glad I did. Now my truck has new features. Built in EQ, GPS, I bought the dashcam and rear camera. Satellite radio, bluetooth, Andriod Auto. My 17 year old truck is new again.

This Kenwood receiver delivers a major enhancement to any automobile or truck that does not come with all the factory installed “bells and whistles” of multimedia and navigation elements. Thus device brought my 2008 Tacoma Truck into the 21st century! I love it!

Had a Sony radio before which I returned. This product is simply excellent, easy to install and very high quality overall' Build in Garmin Navi system is very reliable, easy to program. Build in DVD player works perfect. The product exceeded my expectations by far. Highly recommend this.

I had this unit installed in my 2012 Ford F-350. This was a 2019 model on clearance for $599 This kenwood unit has everything I needed and more. GPS works great. Apple car play is a great option, so many features bells and whistles included. With the maestro I data link module all of my Steering wheel controls operate and do more than they did with the factory radio. Plus I can now see tire pressure, engine diagnostics, digital gauges and the list just goes on. Lots of included aps for digital music choices, blue tooth and hands free. The installers at Best Buy Tempe market place Are top notch and made this whole process outstanding. 5 stars all around.

Solid unit but awful warranty practice

This was a solid unit that I purchased and it lasted for almost four years after standard use. However the circuit board shorted out and now it no longer powers on. According to Best Buy geek squad automotive technicians this a known issue, the main issue I had and why this rating is so low is because the Geeksquad refuse to replace (this model is now discontinued) the unit with a comparable model (DNX577S) unless I pay an additional cost because the DNX576S was purchased on sale and the current iteration isn't on as big of a sale. This makes no sense and I was not told that when I purchased the unit or the extended warranty originally. Wasn't a fan of the tone the Geeksquad technician took with me either.

Got this KENWOOD on sale on Black Friday for $499 with Free install. I had Total tech support so the install was going to be free anyways. The built in GPS is great and you can update the maps for life for just $89.99 with Garmin. Search it on google. It sounds amazing when you pair an amp to it I have the power acoustikic 2700 watt rms. But the bad part is sometimes my KENWOOD turns off pitch black. I don’t know if it’s because I have too much powered amp to it? But my subwoofers are KENWOOD 250 rms (2) and my car speakers front and back are KENWOOD (50 rms each). Also you get the traffic update for 2 years 11 months and 28 days basically 3 years (not 2 years) for free. It gives you traffic update every 3 minutes. Google maps does traffic update every 5 minutes by comparison. The app is called KENWOOD traffic powered by INRIX

Its really nice having built in navigation. I dont kill my phone battery everytime Im looking for a new place. This one also has dvd/CD player which alot of new units dont offer. I added a satellite tuner for $40 and I feel like this has every option available.

The sound and navigation system is great. I have the same one in my car. However, while I was waiting for my installation appointment, I was very disappointed when I came home from a short trip and found the system and the related adapters sitting in my driveway. No idea how long they had been sitting there. The system and components were supposed to be shipped to the local Best Buy for installation as they had been for my car. I am very disappointed in Best Buy for not properly shipping it. But I am still impressed with the installation crew.

Love this receiver. It does everything I need and looks and sounds great. The Apple Play feature is nice and let me save money by accessing SiriusXM this way instead of buying the separate tuner. The screen is large and bright. I have not had any issues with glare. Lots of customizations for buttons, backgrounds and equalizer. A good reveiver at a decent price and came with free installation! The only issue I have with the receiver may is most likely not the fault of the receiver. It did not fit as flush with the dash as I would have liked but this could have been the installer's fault or the conversion bracket or the the way my dash is designed (2013 Jeep Patriot).

I am so happy they still make CD players for cars. I also needed a GPS so this was a perfect choice. It works very well and even has different equalizer settings, like added base. As another reviewer said, you can use the radio and GPS at the same time which is great. I am so glad I purchased this. It is awesome and has everything, just an overall great product!

Lots of technological features to take an old vehicle updated on today's tech filled cars. The older the vehicle, the better. My truck ('16 Nissan Frontier PRO4X), required a lot of other parts for it to work with factory installed equipment (e.g. reverse camera, steering wheel controls, subwoofer, and amplifier). It did not work with the factory Mic for handsfree operation. It comes with it's own bulky microphone. Also, the XM radio is not built in on this radio, and must be purchased separately (this doesn't matter for me though it's built in on the factory radio), it may concern others interested in purchasing this unit and love their satellite radio.

Very good unit, Nav functions are very intuitive and easy to get to. Lots of good stereo menus and it plays very well. Paired with Infinity speakers, Alpine amp and a kicker sub. Equalizer has many presets and fully customizable too. Only issue is initial boot up time is longer than I'd expect.

Had this for 2 years now and the Bluetooth takes forever to connect to second device! Thought it came with lifetime map updates, it doesn’t!!!! Boot up time is about 30 seconds. After two firmware updates Apple car play is getting better but still takes forever to connect to different Bluetooth device. For the money this should come with lifetime map updates! Also menu is not user friendly whatsoever!

Perfect fit for my '01 TransAm. I got this because I made a road trip from California to Illinois and wanted to make sure I had a unit with its own independent GPS navigation system so that I didn't have to only rely on my cell phone for navigation. Functionality of the DNX576S exceeded my expectations, in fact it was providing more power output to my speakers which created a better sound. Connectivity was seamless with my Android phone via Android Auto, both hard wired via USB or wireless via Bluetooth, which was also very helpful on my road trip for whenever I needed to make a call while I was driving (hands free). My only regret was not having installed the unit sooner.

I would of gave 5 stars if it DID come with the remote like the specifications says. Had to go though an upsetting ordeal with talking on phone and eventually goin back to store after they installed everthing(and spending a grand) just to have them say they could not do ANYTHING for me. "Sorry, your S.O.L " about sums it up. Stereo is nice and guy that installed was too.
