The basic settings are pretty much plug it in and stick it to the glass. For those who like lots of options in settings, this is also for you. To get the record during park mode to work, you'll need to follow the directions and have a little intuition. It also wants you to reform the disk every two weeks, but I guess that would be wise for any dash cam as the locked files from street bumps would start stacking up and taking space. The plug in has a battery that allows it to record during park mode for about 25 minutes, however it's big. I'd recommend a plug in extension to hide it under the dash somewhere. I have the camera tucked up behind my rear view mirror so it doesn't block my view. The cable tucked nicely into the rubber window and then door trim to get it out of the view. See photos. I also like the feature of the auto screen off. No need to have extra light in the car during night time driving. The SD card that come with it gives about a 15-20 minute loop recording, (with park recording enabled). Other than to prove careless driving long before the accident, this takes care of 99% of situations. I've caught some stupid drivers and one accident. I popped out the SD card and gave it to the victim. He was kind enough to mail it back to me later.

If your looking for a dash cam this is not the one you want. It started turning off on it’s on after the first week. We were going to hardwire it thinking that would fix the problem. We never got the chance to do this because it started having more problems. The screen started going out and would shut off and not come back on. Pros: 2 in screen, attaches and stays on window with the included taped mount, good picture quality when working. Cons: buttons on side hard to use when driving if you need to take emergency picture, shuts off when driving and won’t come back on for a long time, screen messed up (see pic), can’t contact to a app to download videos, can’t be moved once stuck to windshield with taped mount. Kenwood was a good brand many years ago. It seems like they have let other companies pass them up and are living off of what they were in the past. *Bought the ROAV with no problems so far and has larger screen 3 in.

I am really glad I bought this dash cam, mainly because of the excellent video quality and image stability. Much better than I had expected and far better than a couple other so-called HD dash cams I’ve tried and quickly returned, including the “as seen on TV” rear view mirror dash cam, which had awful video quality. You get what you pay for. The overall set up of the Kenwood camera was easy, thanks to the simple instructions. This tiny yet high quality dash cam fits in the palm of your hand. I was surprised to learn that the micro SD card included is a 16 GB, not an 8 GB, as stated in the list of accessories in the box on the Best Buy website. Being a full time Uber driver, investing in this dash cam was the right decision.

Good price, quality picture, even in low light.Great info on GPS playback.Easy install.You do have to use their app though when reviewing info on your computer. Well worth $100 ...

Got this as a discounted repackaged item. Missing direct dc adapter, so not using full time video. Only using unit from a cigarette lighter for when car is in operation. .avi video files are recorded on an included mini ejectable SD chip. Resolution isn’t good for distant license plates but is good for recording roadway conditions such traffic lights, car details & speed limit signs. Video is smooth. Has time, speed & position derived from GPS. Has swivel mount that sticks to auto glass which fits nicely beside mirror. Audio recording & swivel mount should be good enough to keep cops honest & courteous during traffic stops.

Screen is smaller than expected. I've had many brands of dash cams. Does everything other's did. Full 1080p HD and very accurate GPS. Buttons and menu are easy to use.

Bought 2 of these , 1 for each truck after wife witnessed a road rage incident. Screen is kinda small but plays back perfectly in full frame on a computer. Was easy to set up and install. Yes I would recommend .

I drive for my job and I needed some peace of mind and this fit the bill. The video is good and it's HD and 27fps. I added a 32 gig memory card and it's good to go. It has emergency recording if it senses a jolt, you can take a pic and you can override the recording for emergencies. It also has GPS and a g-shock sensor. All in all a very nice package

This was a most excellent product to pick up for my vehicle love having video proof in case of anything since they are so much dangerous out there with other drivers love the GPS like the fact that it even shows your speed so if anything ever happened you could prove that you wasn't speeding very easy to use and install pick it up you'll be glad you did it will save you in the future

A great product. You do not have to worry whether the cam is recording or not. It never fails to record! Is easy to understand and it does not overheat. Great quality videos! I plan to buy another one to give as a gift.

Hasn't shown any sign of missing footage, easy to navigate and saves impacts in a separate file either while moving or while parked. Thinking about buying this same one for my second car but really wish I had a suction cup option for when I rent a car.

This camera is quite a bargain I have recorded hours of driving and it is fun, easy to operate, and has amazing video quality nice bang for the buck with this and it is a Kenwood.

Bought 2 of these Kenwood DRV-320 Full HD Dash Cams. 1 for front and 1 for the rear. The cameras functionality is top notch for their size. Having used them to alert the CHiPs of an aggressive & potential dangerous driver while on a road trip, showing the video footage. However there is an issue when sliding the plastic mechanism on the camera into the plastic mounting bracket. Over bumps or rough roads they will detach falling off. This not good Kenwood. Is there a way to correct this Kenwood?

Good dash cam for the money. Easy to install! Love that the fact that it monitors your speed. Quality of the camera is also very good!

I had a cheap camera before. I love this camera. It has more coverage, easy to use/review recordings, clear picture.

I wanted to get this to attach to my actual dash, my windshield needs to be replaced soon. It only comes with a stick on window mount. What I needed was to stick that mount on my dash and use it that way. However, the camera screen doesn't flip. That means all the on screen info and speed in driving will all be upside down. Plus, if i was to mount on my dash and play it back the image would be upside down. I had to return it due to this.

I almost had an accident and thought it would have my word against his, so I thought with a dash came I would have a reliable witness in my car. It fits perfect in front of the rear view mirror where you can't even notice it. I'm very pleased with my dash cam

Bought this dash cam as I’ve always been wanting one. Picture quality on the screen is rough, hard to see at anything other than the perfect angle but that doesn’t matter to me much. I use a pc to review footage. I love the parking mode that starts recording automatically when it detects movement. Very easy to setup and use.
