Super simple to set up (plug and play). I did have to buy my own SD card for storage. Excellent for the price. It does exactly what I bought it for. Get it hardwired in your car tho if you don’t have electrical knowledge yourself. I haven’t messed around with it much but it is simple enough.

Great solution for a low cost dash cam. Pros- it does what it should, right out of the box. Love the magnetic feature for easy removal. Clear video. Dont forget to take the protective film off of the lens. Cons- doesnt stay connected with a wifi connection, the app doesnt work well and the gsensor is very sensitive. It protects video clips every time i go over a bump when the sensitivity is at the lowest option.

I've had this since May 2021 and have had nothing since the day I purchased it. This dashcam is super easy to set up when I'm comparing other products on the market. which I purchased after a long time of research. I believed this investment was for a better driving experience. The money I spent was worth it. Fortunately, I could record everything that I could prevent. I was a good defective driver. However, a good inventory for evidence that you can record on the go. I could prevent it. Please remove them when you are paking on hot sunny days. The reason was that I had to save my dash cam. I'm a certified IT professional and a technology enthusiast. Don't be afraid to buy, buy, and best buy!!

Great little camera. Worth every bit of the price. fantastic video. I ordered a larger drive because the one that comes with it is small, albeit adequate.

Takes great videos, easy to install only reason I give a 4 star is bc it fills up quick and is quite annoying when it’s telling you it’s overriding/recording over old videos. Makes annoying beeps every time! But other then that has been amazing!

I recently purchased a dash cam from Best Buy, and it's exceeded all expectations. The sleek design seamlessly integrates into my car, offering discreet yet powerful performance. The video quality is outstanding, capturing clear details even in low light conditions. The wide-angle lens provides comprehensive coverage, ensuring nothing escapes its lens. Setting it up was a breeze, and the intuitive controls make operation effortless. Additionally, the built-in features like loop recording and G-sensor add an extra layer of convenience and security. Overall, this Best Buy dash cam is a reliable, high-performing addition to my vehicle, offering peace of mind on the road.

Everything works great but I almost returned it after an hour plus trying to pair the device with the Kenwood phone app. Nowhere in the directions does it say that when in the dash cam Wi-Fi mode that it will only pair with your phone if you have a hotspot open for it. I only discovered that important detail by looking at one of the questions answered from this website. I'm used to pairing devices with Bluetooth and it shows up right away but that didn't happen with wi-fi, it didn't list Kenwood whatsoever. But once you have the hot spot open you will see it right away and it will pair and upload the images into the app. The default setting for recording is just 1 minute long but you can easily switch it in the setup to three or five minutes maximum before it begins to overwrite. It's only a 16 gig memory card but my understanding at 1080 with 30 FPS an hour's worth of video is only 6 gigs so this should be more than enough.

Works great, easy to set up got it running on my truck and unlike others it wont shut off when the truck is off thats a plus only problem is i tried adding a card with more memory but wont work with it and there doesnt seem to be a night mode, if its dark out it doesnt look good but overall great for the price.

Very well made dash camera. Very unique mounting feature, where the dash mount piece is magnetic. Easy to attach to the dash mount piece, which is necessary if you wish to draw from a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
Somewhat difficult to remove from the mount once it's been secured but that's actually good, since it means the camera will stay securely attached to the car adapter mount.
The only gripe I have is that although you can connect your smartphone to the camera in order to download & view videos, you have to use a wifi connection. The problem I keep having is that the connection keeps dropping for no apparent reason.
You also have to download the Kenwood Dash Cam App which does not work that well.
Other than that, this is a very good dash cam.

Decent images for the price range. Came with a 16GB micro sd which is nice but only got me a few trips in town before warning that it needed to be formatted or would ding when it would overwrite the data. I changed it for a 32GB to be less annoying. Came with both suction cup and adhesive mounts. Overall good entry level cam.

This little do-dad takes really good pictures. I can take that little SD card out, and show the video on a 55 inch TV, via the card reader on my computer. The picture is sharp and clear enough to easily read license numbers on cars running red lights, swerving in front of me, and driven dangerously by aggressive cowboys. Hey, this is Texas. What did you expect? Courteous driving? Right now it's cold weather though and I'm a bit concerned about how it will behave when summer rolls around and temperature gets over 160 inside a parked car.
Maybe it's just my particular camera, but it's really hard to get that tiny SD card in and out. The instructions that come with it are in such tiny type (maybe 3 point font) that they cannot be read by eyes like mine that are well over 65 years old.

Camera was easy to set up. Features are bare bones. It's a good camera and has clear footage, but for a few dollars more, you can upgrade to a Garmin. Definitely an upgrade if you go that route, especially with the Garmin cloud and being able to set up multiple dash cams if you have a fleet.

I got two of these cameras as the Insignia cameras were out of stock and these Kenwoods were on sale for $69.99. Despite not having a rear-facing camera, they seem to work well, decent quality video with GPS.
