Great item, does move around a little bit. During the night kind of hard to see due to led lights everywhere. Great picture, easy to use, and straight forward

I purchased this to replace my cobra which finally died, so far I really like Kenwood brand, it has some nice features and is very easy to use. I have had this for only a short time and we will see how it holds up. But as of now this is working great.

Much better quality and ease-of-use than the Insignia model I had before. Very clear picture and great response time to sudden occurrences

Good camera for the price. I only wanted to record what happens around me did not want to pay the price for a 4k camera. A few said they had a problem setting up wifi but my senior citizen mind did not have a problem. Just downloaded the app on my phone and went from there. I like that the controls for the camera face you rather than on the sides. Makes it easier to see the buttons that saves videos and do other things while "stopped".

I love the "modularity" of the device. Captures very good quality video when seen on another device (once it's downloaded of course since the WiFi feature to connect directly is a little unreliable at times). The range of effectiveness to see a license plate clearly is reasonable for the price that this is, and will work for most general scenarios. Definitely recommend getting the direct power cable and installing it, as it requires it in order to be powered for the Parking Mode feature.

Camera was easy to set up. Features are bare bones. It's a good camera and has clear footage, but for a few dollars more, you can upgrade to a Garmin. Definitely an upgrade if you go that route, especially with the Garmin cloud and being able to set up multiple dash cams if you have a fleet.

Camera quality is good the suction cup mount could be better as it comes off way too easily at times and could use a written guide for the SD card as I upgraded mine and it tells me to reformat (erase) my card every 3 weeks. Only buying a new one because my old one seems to be breaking down in a way that’s not covered by the extended protection.

The camera itself is excellent. It provides a high quality picture and has a great field of view. The only real drawback was that they do not provide enough wire clips for routing the charger cables.

The dash cam works as intended. The video quality and recording quality is good for price and the windshield mounting hardware is still firmly attached despite the constant exposure to extreme heat. The only issue I have is that it constantly beeps at you when the micro SD card is half full, so you would want to pair this with a high capacity memory card for less annoyance.

The camera itself works great and is easy to install, however the app it comes with almost never works/has lots of issues which makes getting the video a headache/hassle.
Even though the camera takes good quality videos (clear enough to see plates but not from a far distance, it's clear enough to see plates of cars that are in front of you by a few feet and isn't grainy)...the app, it's awful. Due to how poor the app is and how it almost never works I wouldn't recommend this, you CAN get the app to work but it's random.

great dash cam for the money. Easy setup and operation. A dash cam is a must and can save you a lot of time and money if you are ever in a situation with another vehicle or accident that you need to prove was not your fault.

One for my car and one for my Daughters. Holds up well in the AZ summer and footage in small fender bender helped determine cause of accident. Hard to identify license plates and even blew them up in Photoshop. Overall does well but suggest looking for 4k or higher resolution if you can spend the extra

Set up was easy as well as navigation of the menu. Recordings are clear and I like that it shows speed and location. Night time recordings are good, but there is some glare from incoming traffic. Totally worth the money.

Bought this for a road trip to SD. Worked as expected. There are a few cons, if you are taking a long trip the memory card only last for around 3 hours of recording time and you have to format it every 3 hours. The bluetooth options was a pain in the butt to use also

After having the camera for only a week it came in handy when witnessing a wreck. Once I knew everybody was okay and 911 had been called, I transferred the video from the camera to the Kenwood App on my phone. Highway patrol was able to view it and determine what actually happened - compared to one of the drivers saying otherwise. This wreck happened at night. Yet, the video was very good. The lighting was fine and the picture was very clear. The time, date, and lat/long were also embedded at the bottom of the video for authorities to see. Very useful!

Kenwood tech support is the worst. said I would never buy another one of their products after the catastrophe of purchasing one of their receivers about 10 years ago. brand new out of the box and the surround sound didn't work. made me take it in for repair. its new, give me another one!!. nope. repair shop couldn't fix it. they wanted me to send it in on my dime. WHAT!! nope took it back and the dept store exchanged it. Similar issue with this and tech support. recorder works fine but it should have a built in battery. the download for your computer so you can review and modify the footage is worthless. you get the sound but no video. I have emailed them 3 times as of now with worthless ideas to try. now I get no response. IF you do purchase this try every aspect of it and if something doesn't work, take it back. you will get no help from Kenwood. worst company ever. I gave them a second chance and I should have known better.
