Easy to install, easy to use. Only issue is the positioning of the cord input. It has to go over the camera if it’s hanging from the window. I feel much safer on the roads now that I have this!

I was very suprised with the quality of the recordings. The camera sees the entire road. At night there is a slight glare, but overall i would recommend this camera. I purchased 2 or each vehicle. Easy set up. Also, you have th option to download the kenwood app for the camera or you can use the usb cable and view the videos on your computer.

I want to love this for the security it brings w all the craziness on the road these day but we didnt have ours two weeks before the mount let go of the double sided tape. Camera came loose hit the dash fried the sd card. Replaced sd card still had memory issues. Thankfully we got geek squad because its on its way to them for replacement. Sadly still better than some of the others out there. Very easy to use before it launched itself on a smooth highway

Simple to use and good picture quality video. Night time video is also good quality. Like the fact that it comes with two mounting options and 16gb sd card.

Good entry camera with GPS. Installation is very easy and the controls are intuitive. Field of view captures all of the craziness going on lately with our roads.

Saved me 15k in auto repairs!

This single product saved me almost 15k in auto repairs. Last year we had major rain in Los Angeles. Flooding everywhere because our infrastructure is not good for anything wet lol. I drove into a flash flood and bang! Water was sucked I to the engine. Because the insurance company saw the footage of an unavoidable situation, they paid for a new motor. This camera was the best thing I ever bought from Best buy. It also records my horrible singing in the car. Nice.

Great product for the price and it comes with both a 12VDC connector and a USB power/data cable. High quality HD videos and records GPS info and speed. I bought it for my new SUV and would recommend this other drivers. It was in stock and ready for pick up after I researched several brands and models on the internet.

This little camera works great. Video looks good during sunlight, rain and at night. The camera shows your speed as you go and it appears to be accurate according to my speedometer. If I happen to have my radio up loud, the sound is not distorted on the video. It’s easy to remove from the dock.

Works great very good quality picture. I don’t like the app not the best needs tweaking for the price well worth it. Get the 256 k card so you have more time to review videos.

Nice camera, poorly written control software.

The camera works well, but the control scheme does not. Kenwood doesn't give you a full user manual, so you have to get it online. Not a big deal, but the manual seems incomplete. for example, there is an odd "charging" icon on the control screen, but there doesn't appear to be a battery as the camera turns off when the car is turned off. I can't figure out why there is a charging icon. The SD card that comes with the dashcam fills up after a day or two and an error message keeps popping up and you have to be stopped, turn off the recording function and navigate the menu to delete unwanted files. There is some weird mode thing that makes this a hit-or-miss thing. It should be possible to configure the memory so that older files are automatically deleted. I also periodically see a yellow lock icon that is supposed to protect files, but I have never turned that on, it just appears. Summary: poorly written software.

My only complaint is that it does record behind you, and the cabin. Everyone should have a dashcam. Especially on that also records GPS, direction of travel, and rate of speed. This has already saved me from two terrible drivers and two lying cops.

Dahs cam was I a nice package, typical good quality from Kenwood. The device and everything that came with it, was good quality too. They give you two options for mounting it, so that is nice. Set up is a breeze, smart phone app uses WiFi and if you are trying to turn it on, you might move the camera itself. Not a huge deal. Big deal breaker is that it only supports the one camera, so you can’t hook up a Kenwood rear camera. Kinda dumb, they allow it on more pricey items so that’s that. I’ll be giving this to my girlfriend and I’ll be buying the 4K model(that I don’t want but I want the rear camera).

Good value for the price. Picture is clear. The settings for loop recording give a few options for length of recording and number of recordings saved to the sd card. A little difficult to disconnect the power cord from unit without disrupting the camera position mounting. It's a little tricky using the spp to view recordings as app instructions are not very clear.
