Kenwood .makes good stuff, plus i figure i should get one in case i ever need proof im not at fault.

Reasonable entry level dash camera.

Seems to work well, the menus are mostly straightforward, the features are a bit a difficult to work with, although it could just be I am unfamiliar with the functions.

Great Dashcam for the Cost!

I would recommend purchasing a hardwire install kit. The wiring kit that comes with this camera is more of a temporary set, with the 3M wire clips not really sticking well to all surfaces in my car. You can easily disconnect the camera from the windshield mount to download and view videos.

It Decides When it Wants to Work

My Kenwood dash cam

Takes good quality video. Easy to remove and use mini SD card in computer. Not bad for something simple.

"simple and clear cut" definitely a must have for anyone who travels a lot of miles.

Believing there was a problem with the microphone, I exchanged for another. Unfortunately, the second unit had the same problem. Needless to say, I returned the item and purchased a different brand. Video quality is great, however each 1 min video consumes just under 500MB.
