Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the Bluetooth connectivity, sound quality, affordable price, and easy installation of the In-Dash Digital Media Receiver. They appreciate the convenience of the detachable faceplate and the ability to use Pandora, SiriusXM, and iHeartRadio. While some customers wish it had a CD player, others do not mind its absence. A few users find the buttons for changing stations to be small.

This is a nice stereo for the price. Many sound customization features not found on higher dollar radios. Puts out really good sound in my opinion.

I find it very odd that I had to return my Kenwood Stereo twice, because it is missing the remote control, 2 extractions keys and screws! I am busy disappointed and I lost my confidence in your sales reps, especially when I asked to verify the parts, but was assured can't open the box in store, because you have to buy it. Well, I am buying, but a lemon stereo! Therefore, I decided to return it and shop somewhere else.

I bought this for my daughters car she is an praticioner of the 21st century and that is to say digital is how she has all her music. This is a great head unit for someone who has all their music stored digitally sounds great connects by bluetooth or cable and has lots of features for a reasonable price. I would buy it again!!

I needed a headunit that would connect to my iPhone for both podcasts and phone calls. I don't listen to the radio, so I can't comment on any of those features. I primarily use this headunit for listening to podcasts (both through bluetooth and wired) and the occasional phone call. Install was straightforward. I installed it myself replacing an older Kenwood headunit, so I already had a wiring harness. I copied the wire configuration from the previous headunit and the wire colors matched perfectly. Connecting to bluetooth took a while, but I think it was a problem with my iPhone (it is getting old). Once I rebooted my iPhone, I was able to make a bluetooth connection and it has been solid ever since. The headunit reliably reconnects to my phone every time and is ready to play my podcasts - cool. Phone calls are clear with the included microphone. I can even used the phone button on the headunit to bring up Siri and use voice commands. Works exactly like I expect things to work.

This reciever is definately a budget purchase and a lower end buy, but that being said; it has a lot of potential. Pros. Inexpensive, Brand name, bluetooth, no more CD player, Some streaming app compatability, bluetooth app remote Cons No direct spotify compatability, could use more display colors, no mic included for hands free. This device is great for the commuter vehicle or even the boat.

In dash radios have come a long way over the years. This Kenwood deck was reasonably priced, easy to install, and even easier to operate. BT function just made my 95 BMW a hands-free phone system. Awesome

This unit does not have a cd player, which was fine for me. The bluetooth works great with my phone. The interface is easy to operate and the sound quality on my 6x8s is great. The only issue I have is that the hands free phone system doesn't work that well. The sound is great, but the mic is weak and often cuts out.

This radio was easy to set-up. Both my iPhone and iPod are connected to play Bluetooth through it. Sound quality is pretty good for music and phone calls. Microphone has good range. I’m pretty happy with this radio and will be buying a second one for my other vehicle!

I was hesitant to purchase a mechless unit, one that does not have a CD drive, to replace the non-Bluetooth CD radio in my daughter’s convertible. It seemed like a step backwards (to me at least) considering my first car had an 8-track player in it. :D But considering the fact that she has all of her music neatly stored in her phone, plus Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pandora all at a click of a button...meh...I figured I’d give it a shot. She later acknowledged that she doesn’t own a CD, so perfect. This unit has all the bells and whistles that you’d expect to find in high end radios and it was less than $100! Three pairs of RCA outputs; front rear and a sub, an excellent radio tuner, Bluetooth that takes calls and streams music from multiple phones, auto connect, phone app connection from Kenwood’s apps...this radio has some serious sound to it. It was a good choice and a perfect birthday present for my daughter.

I purchased this deck for a 2001 Mustang. Lots of customizations. Equalizer, car size, music style, bass boost and so on. There is a USB slot for a flash drive. Also music can be streamed through Bluetooth from your phone. And you can take calls hands free with it. So yes I definitely recommend this deck!

LOVE the colors & options. The mic for the bluetooth does well on calls. Only reason I would say it isnt a 5 star is the CD (or lack of. Cause I did ask for a CD player) The power drives the separates of the system nicely.

Great radio with all the controls to fine tune with a system to sound great. Doesn't have a CD player in it but who listens to cds now days anyways. The only con to this product is the not automatically connecting Bluetooth every time.

I purchased this unit to replace my 7year old Kenwood receiver. The reason I upgraded was because my phone stopped working with the old unit. Great features. I love being able to talk hands free and play my music over Bluetooth.

Works just fine- installed it myself in about 40 minutes dispite having never before installing a car stereo. My only “issue” is I did not realize this unit didn’t include a CD player- but I guess that’s the way the technology is moving.
