    At first, my review would’ve been good, car stereo was installed properly and it worked, that’s all I wanted. Unfortunately when my wife got in the car that evening, she no longer had functioning dash lights on the console. As I type this review I’m standing in the Mira Mar location presently for the third time in regards to having this fixed. On top of that, I’ve spent multiple hours over the past two days trying to reach ANYONE on the phone too no avail... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED AND WILL NEVER SPEND A DIME AT BEST BUY AGAIN!!

    I am very disappointed about the fact that I called twice on the day of my appointment and I was told to come in. Everything was confirmed about my appointment. I came a little bit ahead of time and went straight to installation. No one there. I kept knocking and no one answered,finally I called the main number. Someone told me to go to the main entrance where I was lied to and told that the tech didn’t come to work. I decided to cancel the whole sale. No one followed up until this review. I am terribly disappointed.

    I hate this radio. And after having it and it malfunctioning, my husband bought it again! Ugh! we bought it to replace one that originally came installed in our motorhome that died after the first year we owned it. It is too complicated to use while driving, Even when we are stopped, I find myself needing to find the instructions. The display is very difficult to read-especially in the sunlight.

    Worst experience ever they didn’t order the right wiring harness found out the day it was supposed to be installed no other car stereo in stock worst run company I think returned everything

    Great car radio. Larger physical buttons would be nice, but the hybrid digital sound gets it 5 Stars -- clear sound with virtually no noise. Geek squad did the install and routed the rear USB port into an unused 12 volt receptacle. 5 stars for Geek Squad installation too.

    This radio was a breeze to install and set up. The blue tooth option is amazing and works well with iPhones. My daughter is soo happy to have a nice radio.

    Terrible quality and Kenwood Customer Service

    I bought this to replace a 20-year-old Kenwood KDC-X590. The X590 was infinitely better. Within weeks of installing this, the dimmer broke in the “on” position. That means that I can’t see the display during the day. When I tried the factory reset, the reset button assembly pushed into the receiver body making it useless and inaccessible. On top of that, the unit is now locking up (two months in) and not responding to any faceplate or remote controls. Additionally, unlike my old unit, this one always raises the antenna when it’s on, whereas others only raised it when the radio was in use. I can’t warn people off this product enough. Also, don't hold your breath for help from Kenwood.
