First off, they sound great! Made in vietnam, slight plastic excess drip on the one i got. I'd recommend it for people who just want a decent amount of bass, that will shake the rearview mirror of my Buick Le sabre, trunk rattles, but no flex because its metal, and not enough power running to it to cause flexage.

I put this in my daughters car, it replaced a 10" sub. I also replaced the 200 watt amp with a 400 watt amp. This thumps well in fact we had to turn it down as it was too much. Her friends love it too.

I bought two of these and thought "these subs might be decent." Then I get home, I hook one up bridged with my Memphis 15" sub and wow. The Kenwood made it twice as loud at least. So I decided just hook two up and not use the Memphis... It was a great idea. My system is now run on a 400 Watt Kenwood KAC-5206 and it might sound crazy but this combination is brutal. I took a shot with getting the 12"s and was very impressed so then I took a shot at a little 400 watt amp and it outshines any system I've ever had. These subs are sooo worth your money and if you know what you are doing you can make them sound better than you ever could imagine.

Great sound in my sons car. The installation was easy and the slim fit worked great in the regular cap pickup behind the seat.

I bought this subwoofer for 50$ at my local best buy after a uneventful search for one at local pawn shops that was affordable, and sounded great. I went to bestbuy to conclude my search. If it wasn't here, I wasn't buying a sub. Then, I saw this. It normally runs for 100$ but there was a deal on it that I couldn't pass up. I asked a sound tech what he thought of it, and he convinced me that it was worthy of purchase. After building the enclosure for the sub, I installed the wiring. I was blown away by the sound it produced! It is loud enough in my trunk to make my heart skip a beat. The incredible thing about this, is I listen to classic rock. The enclosure is not ported, which allows the bass notes to be more accurate and precise. The downside is that it's output is reduced. So the fact that it makes the windows shake should impress anyone. This sub can handle any syle of music. I've played anything from classical to rap to death metal and it always impresses me every time it hits a note. I'm not just talking it up, I'm telling how it is. It's been great so far, and I have no complaints. As long as you don't go out of your way to push it's limits, this will be a reliable sub for many years to come.

I purchased the speakers instead of buying used on craigslist and can't be more happy with the purchase that I made the speakers were on sale for $50 apiece and are the best sounding subs that i've heard in a long time if you're looking for clean hard pounding subs at a reasonable price these are definitely the subs for you

Great subwoofer that looks very clean but doesn't just blend in. Great clear sound when wanted but also pushes out some very heavy bass when needed and wanted. I listen to both metal and electronic/dubstep so when I'm listening to metal the drums and bass sound excellent and clear but heavy and when listening to a lot of sythesized drops and heavy bass lines it gives that deep heavy rumble. I was lucky enough to get it on sale so the price was even better than I expected however looking at the regular price it seemed well worth it. Now I just wish I had picked up a new amp when I got it.

We connected two of these in parallel and they sound great. Not just for the heart pupming base and kick drum but for other music they add a rich fullness to the overall presence.

Purchased three of these speakers and absolutely love them. Great sound quality ! Easy installation ! Kenwood products are worth the money.

This sub thumps so hard and it has a really rich deep bass if you want you car to sound as good as mine(Ford mustang) I would recommend this great quality and super sturdy build it may be cheap but its just as good if not better than those high end ones at places like car toys

Sub-woofer sounds great in my kia optima! Not too loud and not too quiet, puts out the perfect bass.

The sub woofer sounds good in my car. I have no problems with that. The problem I had was with the customer service, they were extremely slow and did little to nothing t speed up the process even after I expressed my urgency. I was about to cancel the order but I had already wasted my time so I stayed.

The Kenwood Performance Series subwoofer is a decent subwoofer for a system on a budget. While it may not have the performance of much higher priced brands it does perform well and is well built. I would recommend it over many "off brand" subwoofers that are at the same price point or even higher.

We recently purchased this subwoofer for out 18 year old high school senior to put in his Jeep Wrangler. It was on his wish list from Christmas and made a great birthday gift. He loved it and built his own box to put it in. We always know when he has arrived home thanks to the Kenwood subwoofer.

Very nice twelves. I like the Kenwood brand so when it went on sale I jumped on it. I put four of them in my car and soon my car may fall apart! For one hundred dollars there good. If you can wait till they go on sale again for fifty bucks!

My son and I just installed this in his car last night. Believe me when I tell you that this Sub is legit. We have it installed in a sealed box and it sounds amazing. To say that we were both blown away by it's performance is an understatement. Thanks BB and Kenwood for making this product available.
