I paired this with the KAC511 in parallel at 2ohms stable. The sub blew and smelled like it burned up. Super disappointed and will see about the manufacturer warranty. I was hoping to save space with a single DVC sub but if I had the space I wouldve kept my 2 SVC Kenwoods because they sounded great. I would say I played the sub at high volume for less than 12 hours total since I purchased leading up to it smelling like it burned up in my truck cab.

I have bought a total of 8 of these subwoofers from Best Buy. I have read some of these reviews saying they aint worth it. Im unsure if the people leaving bad reviews have ever installed their own car audio but i have literally beat these thing past extinction and they are still going strong. I have 6 of them hooked up to a 10,000 watt amp in my hummer and its hitting 149 db on a meter. Then i have two in my matrix on a 1000 watt kenwood amp and its metering just over 140. These are great subs for the price. If anybody says any different they just need to have their system installed by someone who knows what they are doing.

This subwoofer was a great addition to the weak bass in my 2010 Jetta. I got it as part of a kit from Best Buy and it was definitely worth it!

For the price and the brand this was a steal, however it doesn’t peak as high as I’d like and two I’ve already have to Warrenty one of them. Overall worth it and happy with my purchase.

very affordable, and sound great.. out of the box the ohms were around 5 or 6 wich really concerned me but after wired 2 of them down to 1 ohm (in theory, cause my meter was reading two ohms) and bumped them for a couple hours, everything loosened up and was reading one ohm like it should have, they were easily wired together thanks to the push in terminals

Excellent boom boom! Got 2 of these, they are hitters! Our neighbors just LOVE our private slayer shows! Not to mention if we get in a mood for some dear old school gangster music! They love us! We love these speakers. My honey built the box based on the specs that came with the speakers, and he did a great job. They sound great. Now we just have to get some smaller speakers to even out the sound, but overall, great buy. Highly recomend.

It's alright for a low budget sub. Be careful with your amp or else it may blow...

This sub does a pretty good job paired with a 1000w amp. My kenwood amp blew out my jbl subwoofer so I figured I might as well get this kenwood subwoofer and I like it alot

Does the job, we decided to only add one sub to our sons vehicle as oppose to two. Go for two subs and not just one. You will enjoy it more.

The bass sounds good. I like the connectors. Easy to setup.

Just relized i orderd the kenwood "road series" and received the "concert" series. Not sire if there is much difference or not. Kind of shady when you receive something different from what you ordered.

The Kenwood-Road Series 12” Dual Voice Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer-Black is a great deal for the money.

I was in love as this was my first sub experience in my new car, i got this sub in a kenwood pack, with the 1000watt kenwood amp enclosure 12inch sub and wiring kit. Not sure if it was user error or what happened but I was smelling something burning all day, didn’t know it was something burning until I open the trunk and smoke is pouring from the enclosure and the bass just cut off. Really sad this happened happy I purchased two year protection. Don’t know what I need to upgrade or do different to prevent this from happening again.
