These are the least expensive speakers sold in the stores so I wouldn't expect a lot from them. They have a significantly better clarity in highs and mids than factory speakers but they lack bass. The factory paper hits deeper and harder in that regards. They can respond below the 40hz rating if you're just testing to hear them, but they don't sound good and they don't hit hard at all. So Ideally these would be paired with some 6x9 or a sub to make up for the lack of bass in the 6 1/2s if you want good bass. You can kick in a 6db bass boost in your equalizer for a better sound from what I've experimented with but beyond that they just start having a bass warble and again don't sound good. But for a $30-40 set they're often less expensive that replacing with OEM and I do like the better clarity of sound they offer over factory. So for upgrading an old Civic's stock speakers for a learner car they did just fine for the need at ahand.

I had bought a 4 way speaker from another brand. It fell apart after after a couple of days. These Kenwood speakers are a good fit for my needs, great price, sound quality. Installation was super easy, had both in in less than 10 minutes. Will buy again for my other car.

ok I bought these literally for their size and good price, just needed to replace some busted speakers on a stock radio. I am surprised at how much improvement these inexpensive units made in a 30 year old car. While there are better speakers I do not think there are better values.

Decent speaker for the price. Obviously wouldn't use these speakers for an expensive audio setup. They are perfect for just everyday use. Also they fit my vehicle with some slight modifications. Toyota Tundra

I bought these after looking at the famous online seller of car audio. These were essential the same, were actually cheaper and because I bought them locally, I got them immediately and undamaged. I put them in a Chevrolet HHR with blown speakers and they were an inexpensive replacement and sound good given the cost. Of course not phenomenal bass but definitely an upgrade from the old speakers.

20$ to replace my blown speakers, they sound great. Better than the brown ones in my car so for the price you really can’t beat it. I’d buy more if I needed them, kenwood is a huge and reputable brand that I trust and got way more than I expected at that price!

Got these to go with their 6x9 3 way counterparts to upgrade my factory speakers in my 2001 Hyundai Elantra. Its like a whole new car. Certainly not on the high end side, but for the price you can't beat them on a budget upgrade! Total spent was about $200 For a new head unit, rear, front speakers and parts.

The speakers are good. They fit easily in my Nissan versa. The sounds the come out are clear and nice. For the price I was able to get it, that is a steal. I recommend this product for people who need new speakers in their car instead of OEM.

Great budget speakers. The sound is very clear, but don't expect much bass at all with these boys. They aren't what you want with a system like that. For a typical stereo sounds, these are great speakers.

They sound pretty good but definitely don’t have a great low end response but you get what you pay for. They are holding up well for being in a boat. So far happy with them.
