    This is actually my 3rd Keurig of this kind, and the first to actually do this, so I'm quite confused. With the other two, when turned off, you didn't know it was there, but this one sounds like it is a transformer ready to blow at any moment. So, this is pretty much unplugged at all times, and when it isn't, it definitely reminds us to do it with its incessant humming. Like I said, I've had two like this one in the past, and they didn't do this before.

    Our last Keurig unfortunately died a somewhat premature death. The touchscreen went up on it and there was really no way to fix that. So, we opted for the basic model, and are very happy. No touchscreen to break, and it brews coffee in 3 sizes. Plus, Best Buy had a sale that made the unit at least $20 cheaper than anywhere else, including the Keurig website.
