My wife wanted this one because she wanted to be able to brew pots. I said that we can get a separate coffee maker and the one I wanted. You will notice what I ended up buying. I warmed up to it. You really need to consider if you are going to be making urns over single cups when making your purchase decisions-it's an extra button press, losing some of the "turn-key" functionality of my original.

My husband on the other hand is super pleased with this, since he can make a personal cup of coffee using the k cups and coffee for everyone using the american coffee normal side. The person who loved it the most is my teenager, she makes tea, and even got my husband into trying different kinds of tea with this. My little one and I are happy to make the k cup hot chocolate. Easy to clean and very good quality. Can't wait to see what else they sell for this.

Poorly Designed Carafe

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes good coffee, the k-cup side is fine, but the carafe is poorly designed and dribbles coffee down the side of the carafe no matter how carefully poured. To Keurig's credit, when I called customer service they sent another carafe right away, but it was exactly the same with exactly the same problems. Keurig has known about this problem for quite some time. Why don't they just redesign the carafe? I spent a lot on this coffee maker and am very disappointed. I'll choose a different brand next time.
