My wife wanted this one because she wanted to be able to brew pots. I said that we can get a separate coffee maker and the one I wanted. You will notice what I ended up buying. I warmed up to it. You really need to consider if you are going to be making urns over single cups when making your purchase decisions-it's an extra button press, losing some of the "turn-key" functionality of my original.

But one I figured it out it makes great tasting coffee I especially like the strong feature.

We really like that we can brew a full pot or just grab a quick cup. The only thing we didn't like was no mention of how to keep the full carafe from going off after two hours!! We knew there had to be a way, and after a lot of googling found the answer. Hold the carafe button down for 3 seconds. Be nice if that was in the manual. But overall, great product and price, prompt shipping and it obviously works right out of the box in minutes. Highly recommend it!!

Now we both can have what we want at the same time. Not to mention how great it is that I can set up my pot of coffee the night before and have my coffee ready first thing in the morning by using the program feature. Plus the automatic shut off feature. Enjoyed it so much I have now purchased a second one as a Christmas gift for my oldest daughter.
